  1. 2 years is now common for a normal spousal visa. Be glad you won't have to deal with Removal of Conditions....
  2. A normal IR-1 filed stateside takes close to 18 months.
  3. Do NOT file an I-130 with USCIS untul you have exhausted DCF possibility. Once an I-130 has been filed with USCIS, the consulate is not authorized to process a DCF case.
  4. As @Boiler said, you must have exceptional circumstances, and it is completely at the discretion of the consulate since the foreign USCIS offices have closed.
  5. Wife signed up there, then received her voter registration card just a couple weeks later.
  6. BTW, @K1 Petitioner , Welcome to Visa Journey. You have found the best place for accurate DIY immigration information. We have a lot of good folks in this community who are eager to help if you have more questions.
  7. Technically, you are still a legal resident. However, not having clear evidence of that status would be a gigantic hassle.....even inside the US if you needed it.
  8. True. Upon entry, all it takes is a CBP agent to trace that current stamp to a denied I-90.
  9. I wouldn't trust a Tier 1 USCIS rep. There is no basis for your current stamp, imo. The base I-90 was denied. Normally, that voids all associated benefits. I would still try to get a new ADIT. Just my opinion. Others might disagree.
  10. Non-issue. Just enter accurate info in the DS-160. Do NOT include a US police report. It is not needed.
  11. Wife's took 7 weeks after passport arrived...but I have heard of some returning within a couple weeks.
  12. The extension letter from the I-751 is no good since it must accompany the expired Green card. The current letter you have is based on a denied I-90. I would get a new ADIT stamp...My opinion.
  13. OK. That is great. We have seen a history of some agencies lying on a tourist visa to "enhance the chances of approval".....then USCIS asking for evidence that the "marriage" was terminated. I have not seen a single case resolved. I would run from any agency which suggests untruthfulness.
  14. OK. The extension letter is worthless without the expired Green Card. Since the stamp you have was based on a denied I-90, I would get a new ADIT stamp in passport.
  15. I know that. My point was that if she or an agency falsely indicated she was married on that tourist visa application in 2018 (which has been known to happen), it is going to present a big, big problem for the K-1 or a CR-1.
  16. Too many gullible people in the world...and the US....and too many leftists willing to exploit it.
  17. Do you have the I-751 extension letter? Based on your timeline, that should extend your conditional Green card until 2027. If you do not have your expired Green card and extension letter (received after filing the I-751), I would get a new ADIT stamp.
  18. A lot of people have reported moves later than 10 days. I have never heard of anyone having issues. I wouldn't worry about it. Make sure your petitioner and sponsors mail an I-865 to report the move also.
  19. Perhaps these recently updated timelines will help:
  20. She is a prime candidate for a denial due to immigrant intent. But, she can apply. It will not affect a K-1 or CR-1 later.
  21. I thought she was denied in 2018.
  22. I would run...not walk..away from that agency. They are advocating lying to US immigration. That will end in tragedy.
  23. I hope that agency didn't show her as married on that tourist visa application. If so, you are headed for big, big trouble.
  24. You could get a "Biometrics Reused" notice. But I think I would just wait to file after your return. Otherwise, you will worry the entire time you are on your trip. In the long run, delaying 10 days won't mean much of anything. - just the thoughts of an old guy
  25. I think that if this was genocide, it would have been over weeks ago.
