Has anyone that received an RFE status update on 22 May received their RFE letter yet? I expected it today (here in FL), but it was not there. Just checking to see if others have received anything yet. Thank you!
It normally takes 4 days or so, but it's coming from California to Florida might take an extra day or two.

No one told us there was a 30 day limit on when to add a spouse to your insurance!! And as for ‘not getting things done in time’ - things happen in people’s lives that they can’t control therefore there are certain things that have happened in the last year that have stopped me from being able to do what I’ve had to do!! There are many people on here who have taken A LOT longer than me to do these important things!
Look OP, Noone is going to 'tell you' a lot of things in life. As adults, it's on you guys to be pro-active about these kinds of things. I guarantee your husband at some point got a packet of information about his benefits that explained these things, whether he chose to read it is another question.
Life does happen, but when it comes to legal things, that's not an excuse.... Your very best thing to do is to always stay on top of this ahead of time and plan ahead. You knew you were getting married, health insurance in the US is extremely important, at the least should have been questioning it well in advance of missing a 30 day post-marriage window.
Things like overstays and the like are forgiven for USC spouses, but you'll still need to file the paperwork ASAP - and that isn't going to help your medical / pregnancy / health insurance situation as they are completely not related, except for the debacle with your vaccination now. I believe panel physiian is allowed to provide a reason why a vaccination is not necessary / cannot be given, and you might have to have them say it cannot be given since you a pregnant, like a waiver of sorts.
Now that you are pregnant, it might be pretty hard for you to even get health insurance that is affordable. Insurance doesn't really have much do to with immigration (beyond having legal status), so your best bet might be looking at insurance resources for your state. There should be a board of insurance that would be a good place to start or if you search "Insurance Marketplace <my state>" you should find some resources.
Here is some information about immigration statuses and healthcare; but given that you technically are not of these statuses, you're probably going to want to file ASAP so you'll have temporary protected status, I think is is. Without filing, it will be hard if not impossible to get insurance and you might just have to pay cash as you go and negotiate. https://www.healthcare.gov/immigrants/immigration-status/
Also, when the baby is born, you need to add him/her to your husband's insurance ASAP (again I think you must do this within 30 days)

Your husband could most likely add you due to a change in life circumstances.
You may qualify for Emergency Medicaid.
In few months, you will receive your EAD and AP, you can always go back to the UK to take advantage of the NHS.
OP and her husband have a history of not getting things done in time. They got married and didn't add her to his health insurance within the 30 days life change window and that was months ago. Nobody can do anything to help if OP and husband can't stay on top of the important stuff. It's not like this is running to the grocery store and putting it off a week... this is important legal and financial stuff.
They claim they didn't know there was a 30 day window, but I guarantee OPs husband has all of this information available to him and should have been planning ahead anyway.

Thank you all for your advice. So basically just proceed and see what happens, how long it takes, etc? Does it matter if we don’t put in the next set of forms by the time the NOA2 expires? Because we’ve been dealing with a lot of stuff we’ve not done anything to prep for the next step as yet. Thanks again everyone
You don't want to let it expire before you take care of things at the NVC stage and embassy stage... continue with the process. Once you have the visa, you have 6 months to use it. You're going to have to do things within the timeframes...

Good day to my fellow December filers!
How’s everyone doing?!! I had a busy weekend attended my close friend wedding yeeehaw
It’s day 174 since our NOA 1 - Dec 6 (our received date is Dec 1), about to hit 180 days of waiting.
I received this email now (no I did not checked the new website for almost a week and this is the first time I got this kind of email).
I know this just an update, don’t wanna get my hope high but still makes me excited lol.
I’m rooting for all of us!!! Hope to see the coming of our approvals in a couple of weeks.
On the new website there was an option to have them email you once a week if there were no updates. I checked the option, but I've never gotten the email... I am wondering if it doesn't sent it if you've logged in to check yourself in that time....

Their call won't lead the uscis to call back my case and do some funny stuff, right?
Maybe you should also file and ask for help, and then you case will be approved soon soon soon . It's called 'CONGRESSMAN LUCK'.... just kidding...hahaha
That's a good question... I don't think so --- but I don't have a solid answer for you.
I've definitely seen where it helps, I have good vibes about this week though!

By the way, we fax to congressman last Thursday. Not sure if it's their help, but do we need to fax again and saying our case has been approved??? Or we just keep silent?
I don't think you have to follow up with them, but you can if you want. Considering doing the same myself, but will probably wait until the end of this week.

i saw on fb visa group that someone got approved on k1 after 257 days w/o rfe and the other one is still not yet approve even if she is at 300+ days .some left a comment on that post that they got approved after almost a year 😳they are k1
There's someone from September thread here that also has not heard anything. It's important to stay on top of your case and as soon as the case inquiry date passes, have your congressman inquire for you.

For the sake of thoroughness, I ran a scan today. It picked up a few cases updated on Friday after my scan. All were RFEs, in keeping with the trend that day.
Looking forward to tomorrow night's scan!

The Case Inquiry Date is now October 30th. I suspect tomorrow it will change to the 31st, and on Wednesday November 1st. It's almost time some of us can start submitting official inquiries.
I'm taking a positive approach that we're going to see a ton of approvals this next week, and the first week in June.
Hang in there, the wait is almost over!

After much research and review of items contained within your post, I stand corrected. Thank you for sharing your insight and knowledge.
A little foresight and experience once you are in the states and are beginning to prepare your AOS package for submittal follows. My wife had all her immunizations done in her home country prior to immigrating to the USA. Once we were married and completing the AOS package and at the time we need the DS-3025 converted to the I-693. We called around to a number of Panel physicians to determine when it could be done and what the prices were. Well to our surprise we got all kinds different answers. Some said we needed a complete examination cost $475.00. Others said we needed vaccinations $75 to $250 depending on which ones and how many. All we needed was to have the DS-3025 converted to the I 693. Basically a "cut and paste" operation with a review to insure we had everything. He said she required the flu vaccination as she was within the window of the flu shot requirement. The Doctor didn't have the vaccine for the flu shot and said that my wife just needed to stop at a pharmacy and get the shot and return with the confirmation and he would complete the paperwork. Over all the Panel Physician copied over the DS-3025 to the I-693, included the entry for the completed flu shot and charged her $75.00 total. So moral of the story is that it pays to shop around for a Panel Physician that fits your budget.
If you get all the shots completed in your home country prior to moving to the US then you do not need a Panel Physician to complete your AOS. Now all you need to do include your DS-3025 with the AOS package as evidence that you have completed your required vaccinations.*
What if I am a K nonimmigrant visa holder and already had a medical exam overseas?
If you were admitted as a:
A. K-1 fiancé(e) or a K-2 child of a K-1 fiancé(e); or as a
B. K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen or a K-4 child of a K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen; and
C. You received a medical examination prior to admission, then:
1. You are not required to have another medical examination as long as your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination, and the medical examination did not reveal a Class A medical condition, or if you did have a Class A medical condition, you received a waiver of inadmissibility and have complied with the terms and conditions on the waiver.
*From the I-693 instructions page 4, Section III. 2, c, 2
Even if a new medical examination is not required, you must still show proof that you complied with the vaccination requirements. If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included as part of the original overseas medical examination report, you will have to have the vaccination report completed by a designated civil surgeon. In this case, you are required to submit the vaccination record and page 1 of Form I-693.
Do you need an I-693 immunization sheet? Is my DS-3025 filled out properly?
Look at your DS-3025. If it has the ALL of the following items, you don't need an I-693 (Adults 19-49 yrs. old).
1. Shots marked with a date (at least one of a series)
MMR (two are required but if you have "insufficient time interval" checked, then you get a waiver)
Td or Tdap or DT or DTP or DtaP (One no longer than 10 years ago, i.e.. have a booster)
Varicella or VH written by it if you had chickenpox
Influenza (during flu season)** see note below because you are most likely okay without it.
2. Everything else marked not age appropriate, insufficient time interval, not flu season...things that allow a waiver.
3. RESULTS section filled in with "incomplete" and "may be eligible for blanket waiver" ticked or "complete" (but complete is rare).
4. Signed and dated by the doctor
If it's not completed EXACTLY like that then see a civil surgeon for the I-693. If it is complete, send a photocopy of your DS-3025. Almost isn't good enough. It needs to be filled out properly.
Really helpful, thank you! Looking forward to get into the process myself! Waiting on NOA2... I suspect we'll hear an answer next week. You and all the other veterans of the forum have been really helpful to me and I'm just trying to pass on tidbits I've learned.

We have no family is the U.S.
We come over every year to Florida for vacation & we absolutely love the place. The only way to get in looks like it’ll be through a works visa.
How do we go about doing this? Do I apply for jobs online? Will I visit my local American embassy & speak to them?
What do you do for work? A work visa might not even be possible for you. What is your education level?
The embassy won't help you. You'd have to find an American company willing to hire you, and sponsor you and your family through the immigration process.

Yeah my fiancee told me there's a couple she doesn't have, and one of them was because back in the day when she was supposed to get it there was no supply in the country or something.
I think it's the varicella one, which she has since had chicken pox and I believe can show a test that says she has the antibodies... we've gotten get all that squared away in the next few weeks.
Her daughter is getting caught up on vaccinations in 2 weeks as well.

We submitted the K1 a couple months ago and expect to receive NOA2 by middle/end of September. Does anyone know how long is the estimated time until I have the K1 visa in hand in case there is no problems with our application?
Define a couple of months.
USCIS is currently partway through processing November cases... they will start December in June, January most likely in July, February most likely in August, etc...
Expect to wait somewhere between 180 and 200 days between NOA1 and NOA2, it's very common right now.

It wasn't this one but that's perfect. Thank you @Little_Vixen
How about this one:
It also states this:
"
The vaccination history of all applicants submitting for an examination by a US panel physician should be reviewed and vaccinations they have previously received should be documented on the DS-3025 Form, even if they are nonimmigrants who are not required to meet vaccination requirements prior to travel to the United States.
Although refugees and K visa applicants are not required to receive vaccines before traveling to the United States, they must meet the vaccination requirements when applying for adjustment of status or permanent resident status in the United States. Therefore, for these applicants, panel physicians must complete a DS-3025 Form if the applicant provides reliable vaccination records. A copy of this form must be provided to the applicant for use as his or her vaccination record in the United States.

Vaccinations are required before exiting your country with a visa. From your own link it states the following "United States immigration law requires immigrant visa applicants to obtain certain vaccinations (listed below) prior to the issuance of an immigrant visa [non-immigrant visa]."
The special document you reference is the DS-3025 [U.S. Department of State's Vaccination Documentation Worksheet ] which you will need for your AOS and is part of your visa packet to bring with you to the USA.
If a vaccine is not available at the time of your medical then it will be noted on your DS-3025 and you will have to see your family Dr. or the Panel physicians in your area prior to the submission of your AOS package to receive the missing vaccination.
Thanks for providing the link for all to review.
The K visa is not considered an immigrant visa, and vaccinations are not required at the time of the visa, only at the time of Adjustment of Status, however, it is generally more convenient to get the record as part of the DS-3025 during the medical exam anyway.
"
While the consular officer may encourage compliance, the consular officer cannot deny a K or V visa for lack of compliance with the vaccination requirements.
Some panel physicians may perform the vaccination assessment in anticipation of the applicant’s later adjustment of status application.

Hey all, does anybody have the link for me which vaccinations are required for K1 visa? I can't find it via Google. I know someone posted a link, which shows which vaccinations are required for which age. TIA
https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/vaccinations.html
Vaccinations are not actually required until you do AoS, but it's always good to prepare ahead of time for them I think. Your fiance can have a special document given to them during the medical exam that lists their vaccinations if they take a certified copy of their vacinnation records to the medical exam.

No we didn't receive any RFE .We did one inquiry and they apologize for the delay and will send a response when they will be making every effort to adjudicate our case.
Thanks for the information! I wish you luck with the process, it's not right that you've had to wait this long!!!
Of you haven't contacted your senator or congressman yet, I would consider it. Everyone I've heard of that has done that has received an answer within a few days as long as their inquiry date was passed, which yours has! Good luck to you!

Hi everyone! Just new here, and I've scan everything from page 1 and I know that you all are helpful.
I hope I can be of help to you too. For now, I got some slight situation.
NOA 1 is November 21
NOA 2 is May 4
Got elated of course, also for everyone who got their NOA 2, and I'm all for those still patiently waiting for theirs.
We got approved but I'm still as anxious as ever, I guess not until we all got our visas
and go through that border, marry our fiances, then that would be the ultimate relief.
I just want to ask tho if it's normal that up to now, online case status whether new or old is still not updated?
We still don't have a case number. I am the beneficiary and I haven't received any mail yet.
It'll be a first that we will try to call NVC tomorrow since I just found here that I should be calling even if only 5 days have passed.
I guess we believed the part that we should only call if we haven't received any in a minimum of 30 days.
I wouldn't expect the old or new websites to be updated by now... however, most NVC case numbers seem to be available 14-16 days after NOA2, so I'd give the NVC a call on Tuesday and see if they have a case number for you.
