I believe it's a glitch. I became a naturalized citizen last year and I received an update as well. 
Keep an eye out since you have a pending case. For me, I'm not even going to look in the USCIS portal any longer. No need for it.

My interview went well and surprisingly very fast. My interview time was 12.30 PM and there was no one in the security line when I got there.
After the security check, I went to an upstairs waiting area. 5 minutes later I was called to interview with one really nice USCIS officer.
I swore to tell the truth and we started with the English test (Reading : Where is the white house? Writing 🥰The White house is in Washington, D.C.) and moved the civics test.
(Civics Questions : Name one US territory? If the US president can't serve, who next in line? Where is the statue of Liberty? Who makes Federal Laws? Name one state that borders Canada? Where is the statue of Liberty?). 
 
Next we went through all the yes/No questions. He asked me if I understood the oath of allegiance and I said I did. He then told me he was approving my application and due to Covid, he will be swearing me in same day. We did the oath. He gave me some documents and I went back to the waiting area for about 20 min. Someone then brought me my naturalization certificate and that was it. In all it took about 1 hr total - from check-in to receiving the naturalization certificate.
 
Zero stress I may add. The Portland office has some amazing folks working there who reflect the warm spirited nature of the PNW. So I am a US Citizen now..Yay! 🙂

You said a whole lot of nothing. Leaning left doesn't mean socialism. It means doing the things for which Biden was voted. If the US liked Republican ideals, Trump would still be president. ..obviously not. Left policies include immigration reform such as fixing the DACA issue - I'm yet to find a single justification for why someone who was brought here illegally as a 3 month old should be penalized for the wrongdoings of their parent. Only justification is sheer wickedness. Other things that are left leaning is climate change policies etc. I don't see socialism in any of this.

I wouldn't spend this kind of money on N600 if it's not absolutely necessary. 
 
 
 

Unfortunately, n600 isn’t issued derivatively. It will cost you arm and leg. You can do passport now and apply for n600 later when she grows up.

P You can apply for either a passport, or an n600, or both. You don’t have to have an n600, but many people prefer it for the reasons you cite. But nothing is done automatically. You have to apply and pay.

N600 can be competed at any time including after she is 18 as long as she still has the documents to prove the claim, having a passport will help a lot for that too

Mine was same way too..
She asked me my wife's date of birth and asked my wife my date of birth.
She asked me my wife's parent's first names and asked my wife my parents first names.
She then asked us to tell her how we met. In her own words "The more you tell me about your relationship, the less I will have to ask anything."
After my wife and I told her about our relationship spanning 2 years before we got married..the number of back and forth trips (5 in all) I made to come visit her..to when we eventually got married..she smiled and just told us. That's all she wanted to know. She was going to approve our petition.
She then made a copy of our rental insurance letter and our utility bill. Didn't look at ANY of the evidence we had carried. Photos and all..Nothing.
We were in and out in 10-15 minutes. And she was such a sweet lady (middle aged - 45-50 years)..very nice and smiled and joked with us throughout the whole interview.
My wife and I didn't go through any lists because we were for real so we didn't need any lists.

I can see why they were suspicious.
 
You told them you dropped your wife off at 7am to 10am when the truth was that you dropped her off the night before.  When they went to check the engine, they knew you didn't tell them the truth.

Your wife told them that she took Uber which is inconsistent with you dropping her off at 7am to 10am AND you saying you dropped her off the night before.
 
You are not done with everything.  This is just the beginning.  At this point, you need to go see a good immigration lawyer.
