may nothing  happen of what you are hoping for.  I very much hope she won't get herself into this kind of  uncertain situation of having a baby with a stranger from another country while everything is still in the air. I feel sorry for the woman. You went too far in your dreams. Just come down to the earth and realize you have not met each other yet. Thinking about babies over online communication and confusing reality with virtual reality seems a little too immature and careless

He said that mistakenly because he didn't know anything about immigration, that is what his explanation says if you read carefully.  Where did you see he said he was going to adjust his status?  Did you read another person's comment about denied entry but then going again with enough documents showing  a trip back? So what if he has lots of stuff in the USA? I know people who fly to each other for 10 years and she spends half of a year in the US on a tourist visa. They don't plan on immigration so....should they  be barred from seeing each other? I notice some people just like to find that one victim here and jump in to start bashing. Maybe enough? If he plans to return, this is not fraud....

Also, you didn't have to explain anything to me. I really don't need it. I am not the author.

absolutely not. It is not prohibited to get married in the United States on a tourist visa. The person who married, returned back.

bar for what????? Go to the US immigration manual and read what people get  bans for. Worst case scenario, the border control will turn him around. He didn't do anything illegal to receive a 5 year ban. Some people just like to tell horror stories here.

Guess you haven't heard that Canada is NOT allowing non-citizens in from the US for the foreseeable future? Something about a pandemic...

Having a baby or becoming pregnant do not help your process or make anything quicker and does not even qualify for an expedited process.  Because being pregnant is considered everyday life.

I suggest being careful and making sure your fiancé and child have access to the best medical care possible during the whole process.  Trust me, things can happen even during the first month of pregnancy that can freak her and you out both, having to deal with that remotely is not desireable.

OP, don't do this.  Listen to the 20 people who told you the opposite of this.  And read the guide!  Many of us on here have been involved in the immigration process for multiple years with no end in sight.  My wife and I are probably looking at 3-4 years total for our CR/IR1 as far as we know.  It sucks.  Every country is different, every case is different, but the immigration process in this country is so horribly broken right now that you can expect it to take a very long time no matter what.  I recommend you expect at least 2 years; if it miraculously comes in less than that you can be pleasantly surprised.  You've gotten more great advice in this thread than some people get in a lifetime.  No amount of denial and re-asking the same questions is going to change the facts of your situation.

I think you could probably try to go visit again with a return flight ticket to Canada and proof of ties & equities in Canada that adequately show your life is in Canada and have to return. But you actually have to return. When you apply for an AOS you submit your i-94 and it'll be pretty suspect if you're applying while on a visitor visa. You can Google what ties and equities look like, things like an employer note saying they expect your return, rental receipts, etc. I had a denial at the canadian-US border before applying for a K1 and had to show proof of ties and equities every time I visited my fiance.

They may have updated things on the form, but I definitely just ignored the warnings when it came to the Date Marriage Ended and left it blank. Instead of clicking next, can you click around to another section using the navigation menu on the top instead?

The only date that I wasn't able to leave blank was the "Date to" box for my most recent physical address (where I still lived). In that case I put the latest date that the system would allow and explained this in the additional information section.

6 months usually. Your visa validity will be counted from the date of your medicals so you shouldn’t schedule medicals too much prior the interview date. That’s how it was Always before Covid. Now I’m not sure

it is not that hard once you've got a job. After a year being in the area where I am now, I've made at least two friends. If I pursued the goal to make  friends/ find support, I would've made even more friends for this time frame.

просто так никому не отказывают, если нет на то веских причин, особенно визы для родственников, супругов или невест. Нужно реально постараться, чтобы вам отказали. Обычно год идет процесс, если подает петицию гражданин США

Lenchick got a reaction from ZKT in Expedite naturalization b/c military spouse overseas - questions
I looked at your timeline. It seems you can apply under 319(a) and go through the whole process overseas provided you are active duty. If so, don’t file anything in the states. You will do it all at the local embassy in Germany and fingerprints too, then she won’t have to go to the states for the interview. If you are not active duty, then yes you can file under 319(b) right now. Sorry for bombarding you with multiple replies. Here is more information

there is no such a thing as case by case thing under 319b for sure. There is the clear law about this process and when the requirements for the expedited naturalization met you just file the application, go through the process and get naturalized. Its expedited and not expedite. Quite different. 3 year rule if you want to have your interview overseas (only for military spouses) Other eligible applicants will have to fly to the US for the naturalization interview but they can still file while they  station overseas as well as those who  are still  in the US but soon departing for an overseas assignment. If the military spouses don’t want to wait 3 years but want to get naturalized straight away, they can also  file under 319b, BUT they will need to fly for the interview to the US.

You can skip it if you don’t have it in your international passport. The Domestic passport doesn’t matter to USCIS. It is the international one that you will use when crossing the border and the name on your visa should match the name in the passport. You can specify your patronymic in the line that says “other names used”. But the first line should have the name that international passport has.

My impression from this thread is that it is much quicker for INA320 cases. I guess the proof is easier or something. Ours was actually less than what the minimum indicated time had been at the time (and latest processing times have gone down from then)

Lenchick got a reaction from two_black_cats in Ukraine dating agency woman
I lived in Ukraine and travel there very often. I know how those agencies work. It’s not considered an occupation in Ukraine. You obviously stereotype knowing nothing about Ukraine and those agencies. They are not called cam girls there and not just for entertainment purposes like those you mentioned. They call themselves translators which is not true either. The agencies do photo sessions for beautiful girls and put the pictures on the website. Then “translators” chat with men as if those were the girls. It’s not always they chat on their own behalf. When a man decides to visit the girl, she never shows up.

Those who meet through dating sites, not date agencies, can sign up, pay membership and chat with whoever they want and the women are signed up just the same way as men and they don’t receive money for spending time with men, or for luring them into writing as many letters as possible. They are not paid under the table and they are not “sort of” employed for any date agency. Quite a different picture, isn’t it? You don’t have to work in the date agency to find a man. There are plenty of dating sites. A dating agency in Ukraine as a mediator is a big scam thing.  That’s my point.

Also, I didn’t talk about that girl in particular. I was talking about that kind of “job” in general.

    Marriage/Dating Scams
The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv receives numerous reports from U.S. citizens who have been the victims of a particular type of internet fraud in which the person has sent money to a person or an agency with the agreement that a young woman will visit the United States for the purposes of marriage or study.  Often, these scams will result in requests for increasing amounts of money for various purposes, including many noted above.  Once the U.S. citizen becomes suspicious, the individual or agency will cut off contact.  Many of these agencies have existed for years under a variety of different names and addresses.
Even if the woman you have become acquainted with does exist and it honestly trying to visit you in the United States, it is unlikely that she will be issued a visa.  The U.S. Embassy advises U.S. citizens not to send money to people or agencies who have advertised for these services over the internet.  We have no authority to investigate these types of incidents and it is very unlikely that you will recover your money if it turns out you are the victim of a scam.
