Anyone has an idea on current processing time?

Going on two years now, still waiting.

It's all over the place.....I have seen cases approved anywhere from a few weeks to 44 months. (My wife's case was 44 months- NO RFEs). Filing for citizenship has bumped some (like ours).

It depends on two factors:

- When you filed

- Where I-751 is pending

My case started with estimated 7 months, then jumped to over 14. It got adjudicated in 20 months.

Seems like we're all more or less on the same boat. Filed on October 2021. 

Last update I received was a 48-month extension for my visa (March 2023).

You're LPR you don't have a visa

May 2022 here. Got the 48mo extension letter earlier this year (2023).

 

On a side note, we've traveled internationally a few times with the extension letter. We were never refused boarding or had any problems with with CBP. Although we did get held up a few times when checking in to our flights because the airline had an old version of the I-797 as reference.

Sept. 21. Case at SRC. Finally broke down and sent N-400 today. Wife isn't amped about becoming a citizen but you do what you have to do to move things along. At least with the US passport we can more easily visit some of the countries on our wish list.

We filed in March 2019......Finally approved in Dec 2022 at combo interview.  It's crazy!!!

Quite....

Not a competition I really want to win, or frankly even entered into...but yes, it is somewhat ridiculous at almost 9 years at this point. Admittedly that is three filings, but that just adds to the sheer ridiculousness of the situation. 

 

 

 

To the OP, get yourself a cup of tea and a good book. You are going to be waiting a while - there is a reason they are currently issuing four year extension letters.
