At this rate of increase, my 2 yr card - that expired almost 7 years ago - will be back in validity with an extension letter soon 😅  Yay, no more stamps 😂

Found on WAVA thread but it's relevant here...   Meanwhile people start receiving new 48 month extension letters.

So, a 2 year Green Card is now good for 5 years?  This is ridiculous!  They need to just eliminate the I-751 completely.  Only 1%-3% of ROC cases are actually denied.

Finally see the extension letter coming through USPS informed delivery today. I wonder if it’s because I submitted a missing notice inquiry 9days ago…

The weird part is it’s sent from lee’s summit address, but my case is with Nebraska. I didn’t file n400.

Husband received 48 month extension letter today as well.   We are Dec 1 filers.

Biometrics Taken - 11/24/2021

Ready for Interview - 5/16/2023

Yes.  SRC here.  No extension letters.  We filed in August of 2021.

 I-751 regular ROC (SRC)                                       N-400 3 year marriage based (IOE)

 Jan 17 2023 - Received                                       Jan 22, 2024 - Submitted online 

 Jan 23, 2023 - NOA + 36 months extension     Jan 22, 2024 - Biometrics waived

 Apr 12, 2023 - 48 months extension letter        Mar 6, 2024 - Interview scheduled for Apr 11 COMBO I-751/N-400!!!!

 

Completed:

I-90 for lost GC (IOE)

Sep 6, 2022 - Received

Sep 14, 2022 - Case is Being Reviewed

Feb 6, 2023 - Card is being produced !!!!!!!!!!

Feb 13, 2023 - Out for delivery/Return to sender 😠

Mar 6, 2023 - Re-mail request

Mar 9, 2023 - GC delivered!!!!!!

SRC filer. June 11, 2021 … still waiting on the 48 month extension letter… 🤦🏻‍♂️

LIN Oct-21 filer here. Got my 48 month extension letter last week and ROC was approved about 3 days later. 

 

I don't think the two were correlated in any way though.
