My spouse naturalized while f2a was documentarily approved in nvc .He upgraded it  to ir1

What do i need to do for our son?

Will he need a separate visa and what procedure

or is there other forms to do to get his citizenship through naturalised parent so we can travel together to U.S?

Assuming the child is not a USC then he will need to petition him file a I 130

I-130 for child if he hasn't sent in two I-130s from the start. Shouldn't have taken an oath until you all were in the US.

Your husband needs to file I130 to start the process for your son. He cannot enter the US without an IR2 visa.   You can slow down  your application once it is at the NVC by taking time to submit your documents so this can allow the sons petition to catch up. Unfortunately this us one scenario when being an LPR has a significant advantage , as F2a allows for derivatives but IR1 does not

Oops .. too late to slow it down..

Good day everyone. Pls,I need your advice. My spouse upgraded from f2a to ir1 which made him file an ir2 visa for our minor kid since there is no derivatives in ir visa. The issue now is that I have been scheduled for interview while our minor child petition is still at uscis. What can I do for him to travel with me?He's just a 3+ and cannot be left be alone.

You were told what to do back in September, so why keep asking the same question?

You really should've listened and slowed down your own case until the child's case catches up. Ask for your own interview to be postponed until child's case is ready for interview. And be smart and don't do medical until BOTH cases are ready for interview otherwise you'll just throw money away.

@milimelothere is no way I could have slowed it down because all documents have been submitted and documentarily qualified before my husband naturalised.Anyway,I will contact the consulate and explain the situation as crazycat has earlier suggested

Until the interview was actually scheduled by NVC, you could have slowed it down.  Best case scenario, now, is that the consulate processes the child's case at your interview (although, they aren't supposed to).  Good luck.
