Long story short, Me and a lady had a one night affaire back in the days and never met again before I came to the USA.

I found her later she had a son, and she said he is my son .I have started helping her care for the child but  never believe he is mine. To clear all the doubt,

I went ahead and did a DNA test this year to prove it. And the boy is mine. Didn't really like how, where  he is living..etc...

I want to bring him to the US to school here. He is 11 now, means I became a citizen after his birth.

Do I have to file for "Consular Report of Birth Abroad of a U.S. Citizen" or I-130 for green card, then citizenship once he get here?

Which is best in this case.

What about his mother?

It will be the I 130

That will not be a problem. We discussed it already

Discussion is not adequate.  You'll need court documentation of custody, etc.

Since you have never married her, you will need to go to court and get legal custody of son.  Which includes allowing him to live with you in the US.  Also, you will need this to pass on to him your citizenship.

How and when did you come to US?

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

How come in 2014 you already knew about this son, yet you only did a DNA test 8 years later?

Are you telling me in eight years you didn’t know where the kid was?

Possibly an internet purchased 2022 DNA kit would justify not listening child on OPs N-400 back in 2014..as well as avoiding questions from US Citizen wife ,  during the rocky marriage.

It would probably be safe to assume, OP may not be listed on child’s birth certificate for the same reason…to keep the story straight.

Long roundabout and winding road..but I-130 for child born out of wedlock, new DNA , evidence of parental relationship ( that money sent for care of child) will ultimately bring him to the US

Thank you @Rocio0010 for linking relevant background

Yep. We'll see. But sometimes taking a "shortcut" is not the best idea.
