Wow 5 months is insane! Glad it was a quick process for you. It took more than 7 months to get my biometrics appt.

Yeah based on most people's experiences on here I really wasn't expecting that, it's possible they deemed us low risk and used the risk based approach for evaluating cases, but it's crazy that it seems that it either takes a few months or a few years!

It definitely feels like cases submitted recently see movement faster than those from farther back. Does not seem like a fair process!

Our case was as low risk as any case.  Straightforward, no RFEs....It took 44 months for approval.....Had wife not submitted an N-400, we would still be waiting.

Hi,

Yeah, We just applied for the n400 this week. Our I-751 is still pending, the last update we had was an 48 month extension in June. Our Biometrics was reused from our I-485.

Also our estimate completion for N400 shows 9 months, so let's see how true that is.

Filed for naturalization yesterday online. Already received the receipt notice and the biometric reuse PDFs. From the timelines I've seen here in the forum, my local FO is approving N-400 in 4-5 months.

Haven't applied, but expect to upload similar evidence of bonafide marriage as for I-751 if applying under 3 year rule.

Filed N-400 yesterday 10th, online and got same notices as the others (3 year rule) and I-751 pending for a year so far at Potomac.

reuse biometrics, expected time 9 months according to website but hoping for less.
Case being actively reviewed.

Just curious, did you file using the 90 days early filing or just waited a year after filing ROC to apply for N400? Thanks

Hi All,

 

We applied for our N400 on July 12th this year. We were told that our biometrics would be used from our previous I751 ROC. We received a notification that our N400 interview is scheduled for next month. Can I assume it is a combo interview? Thank you in advance for your help.
