Received my I-797C in the mail today. Was delivered on 9/12 and the notice is dated 9/16. My receipt number is also an 'IOE' number. My local office is Tampa and it seems like they're averaging 5-7 months (based on other people's timelines, not the USCIS processing timeline).

My wife received her I-797 notice via snail mail with 9/13 date (same info as posted online). Her notice also starts with an “IOE”. We have noticed there are not that many  VJ members with recent N-400 filings at LA office. This makes it difficult to get a read on timeline, though we are seeing some members waiting 7-9 months before interviews.

I’ve just submitted mine! I kind of wish I didn’t wait so long to do it seeing how easy this was to complete. After doing the ROC I just wanted a break from the whole process, but this was a lot easier (submitting it all online made it a LOT easier too!)

Looking forward to completing this next chapter and finishing off the whole process for good 😄

So easy! Almost felt wrong not having to print, mail off, and track a big packet. The same day NOA1 was nice. I wish they all could have been online. Hopefully they keep moving in that direction and make more forms online. Applicants of the future won't know how good they have it.

Just checked my wife's pending RoC case and saw the following:

Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction

Does this mean we will possibly get combo interview for her RoC/N-400, or what has been some of the experiences?

I had an email this morning that said “We have taken an action on your case”, but when I logged in and checked I didn’t see anything? I checked the status and documents and didn’t see anything that has changed.

Is that common? Does it mean they might have just touched my file, but not necessarily done anything? Just odd to get a notification for no reason that’s all..😖

I got that same email today. Had me excited too. Seems like it was referring to them accepting the case and reusing Biometrics. I would’ve taken that ROC was transferred to my local office at least

Is the 10 months estimate for specific area or for everyone? Mine is showing 10 months too. NYC.

Mine is showing 16 months so it must be different depending on area, I’m in MS. I read on another thread that as it gets closer to the time each month it comes down an extra month, so to take the time frame with a pinch of salt. Hopefully that’s the case for me, be nice to get this over with in <1 year! Otherwise I’ll be waiting until January 2024!
