  1. We received my wife's NC exactly 4 weeks after passport was received. It arrived in a large orange envelope and NC was not folded. Envelope did not show in Informed Delivery scan of mails being delivered (since it a large envelope). We have already completed her SS update (in person) and Global Entry update to include her new US passport (it was done in person on a walk-in basis, since it was an update). She is finally done with everything.
  2. Congratulations. I am so happy for you two. All the best.

  7. My wife’s oath ceremony is now done. She has a passport appointment at USPS tomorrow. . Her journey is finally over and we do sincerely wish yours will be approved quickly as well. Stay strong knowing your turn is around the corner.
  8. Thanks. She said the interview was easy. Her oath ceremony is on Thursday 2/2. She is very relieved to be almost done!
  9. @Positive_Vibes My wife had her interview today. She confirmed that Downtown LA office does not do name change. They also do not do same day oath ceremony. Thanks.
  10. Thank you. I hope your husband's interview gets scheduled soon. I know you have been waiting for it. All the best.
  11. My wife just completed her interview. It was pretty straight forward and was done in 20 min. Her oath ceremony will be on Thursday 2/2. LA office does not do name change nor do they hold same day oath ceremony. All the best to those still waiting.
  12. Thanks. I will definitely provide an update afterwards.
  13. Sorry you are having difficulty with this. I know you will get a hard copy in the mail. I have seen a few people had same issue...they called 800 number to find out their interview date, while waiting for snail mail copy to arrive.
  14. I do not think you can get passport in 2 weeks based on expedited processing. You may want to consider applying based on "urgent travel". Here is what it says on their website: "Choose this service if you have urgent international travel plans within 14 calendar days for reasons other than a life-or-death emergency. Restrictions apply. Call 1-877-487-2778 to make an appointment" Good luck.
  15. There is an app called Lawfully. We have downloaded the app on my iPhone and added my wife's USCIS case number (IOEXXXX) in the app. We received notification when the status changed (in her case it was interview scheduled). You may want to look into that. Make sure you have turned "on" notification within your phone for this app.
  16. It really depends on your field office. You may want to update your timeline to get better responses. My wife's N-400 is based on 3 year and she already has 10 year GC. Interview ins on 1/31. We are out of Los Angeles field office.
  17. If you filed online, you may find a copy of this mail in the "document" section of your USCIS online account.
  18. My wife's N-400 interview is scheduled for morning of 1-31. She already has her 10 year GC and filed under 3 year rule. I have seen they do same day oath. However, she is having a name change. Does anyone know frequency of Oath taking with name change for downtown LA office?
  19. My wife has her interview at the end of January. She will be taking in last 6 months of 2022 bills/statements plus copies of 3 years of taxes, and other documents which they have requested to bring. Keep in mind you already have received your 10 year GC. You are taking these additional statements, just in case IO asks for them.
  20. You have plenty and seem very prepared...one item (if applicable) would be to bring in your and your spouse's divorce records from previous marriages (again, if applicable).
  21. Your question is hard to answer. Each field office has their own schedule for oath ceremony which depends on how busy that particular field office is. You may want to provide your field office location (or update your timeline to reflect that).
  22. Congrats. You will be all done with USCIS just before year end. Is your Oath ceremony at the same location as your interview?
  23. Thank you, Joy. Hopefully you will get your interview notification soon.
