I did try this! I think I already submitted 2 or 3 requests (that’s how long it’s been lol) and nothing.

Happy for the MSC filers! Hope other centers can provide updates soon too (mine is Potomac…)

Mine is Potomac as well.  We are in this together! LOL We filed in September, but keep us posted.  Potomac is insane.

Why is it that MSC/NBC is the only one doing it?  There are people from January 2022 and months in 2021 at other service centers that are stuck and waiting.  They are not applying this across the board.

Yeah that's really frustrating. I wish that all the other centers were moving equally.

Wow we have very similar timelines and submitted to the same Dropbox and were sent to the same Service Center. No movement after biometrics for me yet but I'm wondering if I dare be slightly hopeful due to your story. Regardless, congratulations on getting through the process so quickly!

Did you have an actual biometric appointment or did they just reuse?

We were on a CR-1 and not a K-1 so we were asked to come in for biometrics in September as we hadn't done them prior to that point.

That’s what I would do too!  Keep us posted @muddyboots

I called talked with the customer rep and she actually confirmed that the address they have on file is the correct one and that nothing is happening in my case. And here we are with no updates on the status neither snail mail nor e-mail. I guess evil glitch? Very evil though ;)

Hi, I got my receipt 9/16 and it’s an SRC (so Texas?) receipt no.  and radio silence since then .Just  did an erequest. Will see what they say and update. I know this is the Aug thread but I thought it was close enough ….. came to see if others were in same boat and yes they are! Can file citizenship this year so that may yield results before getting a non conditional green card

160 days since filing and no word whatsoever..

I sent a case inquiry 10/17/2022 regarding biometrics, I got the standard reply that “ we will schedule you for biometrics but it can take more than 90 days because of backlogs…”

I would breathe easy when this is all over and our case is approved… we can file for naturalization already, but I can’t see the point in doing so, when the hold up is in the lifting of conditions…

anybody heard anything?

Often, filing for N400 can shake the I-751 loose.

We are the same and will not be doing N400 in September just because.  I don’t want to pay more money within a year to shake it loose.  To each their own, but I’d rather wait.

@AGF I’m on the same exact boat as you are but I second the comment above. I saw a bunch of cases moving after the N400 is filed. That would either result in an approval or a combo interview.

I filed in August and radio silence for me too…My case is in Potomac so it will be a while. I’m just living my life until I can file the N400 next year :)

Hi all,

Been a while since I was on Visa Journey.  Checking in to update that my ROC was approved today, February 1st, and to our surprise, no interview.

Service Center - MSC

N400 up next later this year and then we are done.  Good luck to everyone!

Congrats.

It does seem however that if you don't get biometrics reused/taken within the first month your case is going to collect dust until you file N400. Every fast ROC that I have seen is following that pattern.

It's really seeming like the MSC is doing the risk based analysis and starting with some of the more recent cases instead of going back to the older ones. Seems all the August approvals have been MSC.
