He came on a K1, the day of interview the officer told him everything looked good, but he needed one more paper to give him the visa, and that was the ds5535. He was working at a bank in Beirut and he only traveled to Mexico once.

Please be aware that a visa is not approved until all checks and processing is complete and the status changes to "issued".  Hopefully, that will be in the near future for your case.  Good luck.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Your interview was approved not your visa like @Crazy Cat said. You need to follow their instructions and wait until the final decision.

that is only a small part of the ds5535

as u can see from the form

u have to list all silings (full,  half or deceased)

u have to list all the phone numbers u have used and those of your siblings

u have to list all email ID's

u have to list all social media used

u have to list all employment

this all takes time for the embassy to review and check
