Hey All!

 

I'm flying out to go see my Fiancé in a few hours so I wont be able to give you the final Friday numbers till this weekend.

 

Tried to do a 12pm Mid-day update for you to keep you all going in the meantime, but as of now there are no updates for Friday. HOWEVER, I think they got their technical problems sorted out, because I rescanned for Thursday and there are a ton of new updates.

We got our I-797 form yesterday, 3 days after our approval on the 6th. What is interesting is that it is dated on 1st september (notice date). Seems that we were approved on the first, but it went into the system on the sixth of September.

Well after 14 months we got an update... says RFE was sent to us on Sept 8th and waiting for it to arrive..

 

Do I have much to worry about? How much will this delay the next step and does it decrease chances of success??? I'm Canadian, she's in US and it's a pretty obviously real relationship.. just stressful and depressing.

 

I honestly think it's likely that we didn't submit the full divorce degree for her previous marriage it's about 32 pages and we did the front and back pages thinking it was enough but upon reading stuff I think maybe that was the issue... Hopefully whatever it is. Is an easy fix..

 

First time I've been truly scared and worried for our future, just didn't expect this and makes me really stressed.

Got the I-797C NOA2 this weekend in the mail, also a few days after the approval. Noticed it was dated the 6th but we were approved on the 8th.

Dont worry, in a couple days the petitioner  will receive a letter(email) explaining what docs( or whatever they want) from you guys. Lately they are sending tons of rfes, its SUPER NORMAL.

it could be anything, like the intent of letter intent,more pictures, flight tickets,etc.

As Im seeing, it delays the process in one or two months after your answer.

but for real, even an rfe is a good thing, they touched the case and its matter of time!
