Originally I got an RFE for my sponsors income, we satisfied that. Now I just got another one for AOS that is saying I need medical exam. My medical exam in Canada was done at the end of July last year so still not 12 months. How do I respond to this RFE so annoying because I believe this is a mistake and it's not required. In my original packet I sent in my DS-3025 with instructions highlighted saying I don't need it again under K1..... Cannot believe this happened now.. so do I just respond again with the instructions highlighted and my ds-3025 for the second time?

For I-864 it says "A copy of your individual Federal income tax return" Is this the correct thing? requesting tax return transcript from here? https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

Do you know if there is any difference's between responding online through the online upload with scans or would it be better to mail it in, I was planning on mailing it personally but im still trying to figure out what exactly to do since I already sent in everything 100% correctly the 1st time (- the joint sponsors birth certificate) but all the forms and documents were correct and I can see them all on the scans.

When viewing my online USCIS account I can see the scans they took of the 10 pages of each of my I-864s from my Wife & Joint Sponsor. All 10 pages are filled out correctly & signed. Do you guys still think I have to send them in again? My gut feelings is that they just need my Joint sponsors birth certificate since that's all that is missing from what I sent in (my mistake) But I also don't wanna take a risk so I'll just have my wife & joint sponsor fill out everything again to be safe just seems unnecessary especially with the scans. also, is it true that if I respond to this RFE with what I think is correct, and happen to make a mistake they are just going to deny my case just like that? No other chances, That seems insane after all this time, money, effort that if I slip up one more time they will just do that, I hope its not real and just something they say to put the pressure on to not make mistakes.

After logging into my USCIS account, I can see all the files they scanned/uploaded and I see both full I-864 filled out and all supporting docs. This leads me to believe the I-864s are good and I only need to send in the birth certificates is this correct thinking or no? Okay I didn't think it'd matter since its just names but I appreciate you looking out

Hello, I just signed up for online USCIS account and seen I have a pending RFE. Just to explain my situation quickly, I have my main sponsor which is my wife but her income was very close to the limit required so we played it safe and used her father as a joint sponser as he makes well over 200k a year. I sent in her completed form, all documents (tax, w2, paystuck, employer letter, birth certificate) but with him I sent all those minus the birth certificate (I didn't think it would matter for joint) So in the RFE letter I'm just confused, What does this seem like to you guys? Do I have to send in just his birth certificate and nothing else? or do I need to have him fill out the entire form again with all the support docs again + his birth certificate this time. Also do I need to send in her stuff again? I've attached the full RFE below, If you can take the time please let me know what you think I need to do exactly because I'm very scared of making a mistake with them saying if I do it wrong I'll be denied and only get 1 chance..... Side note : Is there anyway for me to contact them directly and ask them what exactly they want? Thank you

My fiance is going on Friday to get the Divorce Degree that we already have, but from the office directly hoping it will have a raised seal... If not a huge waste of money lol. I know you need to have proof of name change, Her name change is in the divorce decree, so is that good? Thanks

Hey guys, I finally have an interview scheduled for Aug 23rd in Montreal! They want Original of the Divorce Degree, Not copies. My Fiance was divorced in Texas for the I-129F we sent in an electronic copy I purchased from the County District Clerk's office online and printed off. It was accepted fine, but I was reading people's direct comments about the Montreal Consulate and they were saying they didn't want copies only the "original" Does this printed off version I bought electronically count as the "original" I'm very nervous and don't wanna be turned away or get a delay at the interview. I've attached what I have below, this is what I used for the I-129F and what I plan to print off and use again for the interview. What It looked like when I was ordering it : The Final Page of the document : I just don't know if it will be a problem it doesn't have a raised seal or anything since its a printed off version electronically etc.. Do I need to file a new ds160 if since I last filled it out I've traveled to the USA again? Since the last one I filled out asked for my most recent trips to USA and now it doesn't include this most recent one or am I okay?

@powerpuff Can he just send me scanned copies of the Employment letter thing and the paystubs or do I need the raw copy? I will have the raw copy of his filled out form I-134 but it'd be much easier if he could just scan and send me the paystubs etc. Thanks, Nick

Okay my main concern was he doesn't need the bank statements. So I will get him to get the employment letter and paystubs. How many paystubs does he need like the whole last year? Thanks for your help

My Fiancees dad is helping out us, He makes well over the required income, From research on here it seems like since thats the case he will only need to provide his last few tax returns is that correct? He doesn't need the bank statements or the employment letter because his income is like 3x the required amount on tax returns? Just wanna double check. Thanks!

I was looking at instructions for AOS but it looks like I read it wrong and its saying only provide stuff if you were convicted.. My bad. Is there anything I'm supposed to bring with me from Canada to US that I'll need for the AOS? or is everything I need for AOS will be available to gather in USA? Thanks

I already got my certified criminal record check for the K1 interview, but I'm wondering what happens when it gets to the AOS, It says I need to provide police certificate again, can I use the same one? does the interview give me the original back? Thanks

Okay thanks. It should work out then, Because I won't have my medical until a few days/week before my interview and that will likely be a few more months... Which will make 6 months enough time for the wedding. Thanks for the help

Hello, I'm just about to send my email off to Montreal consulate as instructed in Packet 3, They say within 6 weeks I should hear back and I can go ahead and schedule interview & medical after... Which is great! but here's my dilemma. My brother is getting married this September and It's my understanding that once I enter the states I have 90 days to marry, Then once we file for AOS I will be unable to leave again until its complete, So I wouldn't be able to make his wedding back in Canada. Can I complete packet 3 and then just schedule the interview for around September so that way I can attend the wedding and then proceed to enter US afterwards, I just don't know if waiting that long to schedule interview or anything will cause problems.. My brother understands if I can't make it, but it's really important to me not to miss my own brothers wedding and it would really suck to miss it, but I will if I have too, I just hope I don't. Or is it possible to leave USA when your there during a pending AOS? Just don't know what to do. Thanks, Nick
