  12. Interview went well, we were approved. My fiancé said they asked 5 really basic questions and the interview lasted 3 minutes. Her interviewer was a young man with glasses, it was in Russian, and she said he was extremely friendly and welcoming. My finance was basically disappointed by how easy it was, lol. She had stressed herself out and we both prepared so much, but the hard part is already done, the interview is just a formality. I printed out tons of pictures and mounds of proof of our relationship, as well as IRS tax docs, photocopies of everything, and so much extra stuff, that absolutely no one looked at. All they wanted was the DS confirmation page, the interview confirmation page, Medical results, Financial support doc, signed form from my fiancé of intent to marry, police form with translation, and birth certificate with translation. I have like hundreds of other pages, plus all the pages from the original submission that they gave back to us. Not sure your route to Poland, but we got a 15 day single entry Spanish visa. However, we didn't fly into Spain, she flew from Moscow-Istanbul-Paris. She got some grief from the person at the gate in Istanbul, asking a ton of questions why we have a Spanish visa and flying into France. Thankfully, I had her bring tickets from Barcelona-Istanbul-Moscow as well as a hotel booking in Barcelona, all of which I bought, printed out, and then immediately returned. The guy at the gate took pictures of all those forms and asked for her tickets from Paris to Barcelona, which she didn't have, but she just said we were planning on buy train tickets in Paris. He made a stink, but eventually let her board the flight. At the Paris border, the guard asked her, her plan and she responded the same as above. The guard didn't ask for any proof and just let her pass easily. We flew Paris to Warsaw, almost no one at the airport even looked twice at her passport. Like a half a glance to make sure her name was the same as on the ticket. At the door to the airplane in Poland, there were four policemen asking to check everyone's passports. I had a heart attack thinking they were looking for Russians entering illegally, but they only cared about checking the men and waved the women through without looking at their passports.
  13. Thanks so much! Just dropped her off at the embassy. All the Poles at the window on the outside of the embassy and the guards were extremely nice and helpful. Just trying to keep busy at my hotel waiting, I'll have news in 3-4 hours!

  17. I had no idea the updates were still so popular! I'll try to continue them when I have time this week. Thank you all for the well wishes guys! I'll keep you all updated!
  18. Invoice ID doesn't exist for K1 visas. That's for a different visa. All you need, is to have submitted your DS-160 and you're good to go. The instructions will include the link of where you need to go to create an online account and schedule your interview. https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ You go there. choose your embassy. choose non-immigrant visa (if it's a k1), and then hit the green button that says "login" and that's the site where you will be scheduling your interview. The instructions include this information, however you don't need to wait for the instructions.
  19. Hey all! Not sure if anyone is still following the July updates as we have mostly tapered off into nothingness, but I'll be pretty absent this week. My fiancé's interview is in Poland on Friday and I'm flying out tomorrow (Tuesday) to go meet her. I'll probably not be posting anymore updates this week. Wish us luck! 24. No you are all good. I did the same thing, scheduled my interview before my instructions were received. As long as you receive the instructions before the interview date, you will be fine. If you do not receive them, your interview is automatically canceled. There will be two more ready's. The only thing you will see change on the CEAC website is "date of last update". on the Third ready, you usually receive the instructions the same day. Mine: Jan 9th: Case Arrived to Embassy - First Ready Jan 9th: Submitted DS-160 Jan 10th: Paid Fees, Signed up for Appointment on Feb 17th Jan 11th: Made Medical Appointment for Jan 20th Jan 18th: Second Ready Received Jan 19th: Third Ready Received - Instructions received Jan 20th: Medical Exam Jan 24th: Picked up Medical Results Our appointment is next week!
  25. Same. My fiancé just got a 15 day - single entry Spanish visa. She has been to the EU three times, one of those trips being as soon as last September. And another of those trips was to Spain. It's a complete lottery The trip in September was on an Italian visa, and they gave us a month, multiple entry visa. We decided to do Spain now because it was faster. And yeah it was actually very fast. Found as spot on Jan 13th, for an appointment on Jan 20th, got our visa back Jan 27th.
