Hey guys, got my biometrics waiver form from USCIS. Received it today, but dated 05/28. Case # LIN. Glad to see some movement.

How many days before you received your biometrics waiver? I got my extension letter May 25 but up to now don't have any update bout my biometrics. Thanks

Just an update on this. Package was returned for incorrect fee on 06/14. My $680.00 money order was lost or never made it to them.

I put the money order in a small envelope with the label "Money Order".  I should have just put stapled it with the documents.

Dont forget the payment should be $680+$85 biometric fee which adds up to $765

Si your money order is probably somewhere hidden in the pages.

That's why it says incorrect fee

@Nouchigang You might want to recheck the amount you need to send in.  It should be $680 total ($595 + $85 = $680). If you send in $765, that's the wrong amount and it will be rejected. Hope this helps.

Hi everyone still doesn't have my NOA, I called last week and they said they resend it on June 14. Just waiting desperately.

Hey, sorry to hear. It sucks to not have it in had despite the process moving forward. Hope  you get it this time. If you haven't already, please sign up for USPS informed delivery so you see what mail you are going to receive. Hopefully there was no typo in your address either.

Received Notice for appointment for biometrics

It’s not waived 😕

Received this notice today, 2 months after NoA1

Does it mean anything bad ?
I know most applicants received waived letter

Are you IR1/CR1? If yes, then it's normal. Basically, they are waiving biometric requirement for those who already had their biometric done previously (most likely during AoS). If you didn't have to do that yet, they will make you do it soon, that's all. Nothing's wrong.

Yes, but was your original visa a CR1/IR1? Those visas will require a biometric appointment for removal of conditions. K1 visa holders have their biometrics taken when they adjust their status after getting married in the US, so their removal of conditions does not require another biometrics appointment.
