Hi All,

I'm in the process of submitting my application. I'm looking for a sample of affidavit of support letter.

If anyone can share an example ? Also, does is have to be notarized?

Thank you

What kind of affidavit of support?

Like a letter from a friend/family?

Letters like those are counted as the weaker evidence- if you have more evidence of a continued marriage, that would be best to focus on!

Yeah two letters from friends confirming marriage authenticity. I'm adding this as additional evidence !

Thanks for your reply!

Jumping into the January 2021 I-751 filers train! My package was delivered via Fedex on 01/28 signed by F.BROWN. I will post updates if I receive the e-notification. Good luck everyone!

This makes me feel a lot better... F BROWN signed for ours too.   (Received 1/13)

I'm starting to get the nervous twitch over here.

Can anyone tell me what happens if we don't receive any kind of NOA before the GC expires?  (Ours is 3/1... I feel like we filed relatively late unfortunately).

We filed Jan 15 and also received notification that it was signed by F.Brown - unfortunately, like most people from Jan 2021 we have not heard anything further regarding NOA etc. My GC expires Feb 22 so it is possible that my card expires before the NOA is received. There is not much we can do about this in my opinion. As long as we followed the rules of submitting our petition within the 90 day window, we have done our part and are now waiting on USCIS for next steps.

UPDATE:

Looking at the December filers thread, seems like the applications received in the last week of December are being processed/having their checks cashed/CC charged etc. This means Jan filers should start seeing movement on their cases in next few weeks. Please update the January spreadsheet with your case details if you haven't so that everyone can get an idea on how things are moving wrt USCIS processing times. Thank you!

We sent ours via UPS, and Anna signed it. Did anyone else send Fedex/UPS and have Anna sign theirs? Now I'm worried since it wasn't F.Brown 😂

Nothing to worry, there is no way USCIS will have ONLY one person receiving mails.

In the meantime,  just relax and wait for them  to charge your credit card or cash your cheque.

All shall be well. Wish u a speedy process.

We called today out of nerves since my wife's card expires in near three weeks,  basically they went through the standard, "We are backed up" and "There is nothing we can do, but you've done everything you can so you're fine and if something comes up we consider you in compliance.".

Which... okay... good to know but it doesn't make me feel any more calm tbh.
