WAC Jan 2021 Filer here, Finally i got a notification about fingerprints were waived.

July 13, 2022 Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken

January 7, 2021 We received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence.

Any idea how long it will take from here?

Nice! You're making moves. WAC/CA has been either super fast like within half year or lingering for almost 2 years till the ROC is approved, based on all the data I gathered here.

I'm a WAC as well. It's been 516 days for me since they received my package. Still waiting for my fingerprint instruction. Even mailing a letter to request for updates won't do any difference. They just reply you a useless letter saying your case is under reviewed atm, face palm.

TBH I'm not even thinking about it anymore, just waiting for my 90-day period for filling N-400 in 4 months.

Hopefully you'll get more updates on your status soon mate!

Hey guys

I am still showing as of November 2021,  I-751 ready to be scheduled for interview (after my biometric appointment).

I have now got a notice to interview next MONTH for my N400 , but still  nothing on I-751.

So will it be a combo interview?

I though they have to approve the I- 751 before they look at N400?

Yes, I-751 needs to be approved first. You may get a combo interview, but it's not guaranteed. You may pass N-400 but still be waiting for I-751 approval

My husband had his N400 interview on Wednesday.  They did all the normal questions and then grilled him about our relationship, what kind of car I drive, how much our car insurance is, etc.  The guy was pretty nasty but at the end asked my husband all the oath questions- like what the oath means and if he wants to change his name.  He gave him the N-14 paper and told him to bring back evidence of a relationship and have a man that he pointed out to put it on his desk.  We left and printed out proof and came back and the guy downstairs wouldn't let him back up to give it to the man and stated that he would need to mail it in with the letter that we get in the mail.

Today his 10 year green card was approved but no movement on the N400 case.

I applied for ROC in January 2021 service center is MSC. The status is "ready to be scheduled for an interview" since November 2021. I have 24 months extension on my expired green card which is valid until February 23, 2023(feb next year). We are going for an overseas trip next month and coming back in November. Would this be problem on the way back. I'll still have 3 months of extension but i'm worried if it will cause any problems on the way back.

No, if the 24 month extension letter is still valid expect no issue. Expired green card plus valid extension letter together equals okay to travel back to the USA and enter the USA.

Avoid finding yourself outside the USA with an expired extension letter. The extension letter extends the expiration date on the green card so calculate the extension period from that date to determine the expiration date of the extension letter.

This is exactly what happened.

I passed the civics and all for  naturalisation, and signed about I understand the oath and what I will pledge should I take it, but he said decision cannot be made as I-751 is still pending , and he cannot see the file, he can only see the N400 which he was happy with.

so I did not get a “combo” interview, only n400.

so the wait continues
