This is not a thread for attacks on these men.

What I want to know, how will it help me to choose one or the other? Where should my vote go to help me, my family, community and nation?

What are the Pros of electing Donald Trump?

What are the Pros of electing Joe Biden?

If you are none of the above, how should I spend my vote? Or stay at home?

Maybe I should be more definitive, the Pros are not limited to personal economic gains in this thread and the gains can be any improvement to the country.

You should probably just specify what your priorities are, otherwise people will give you an opinion based on theirs.

In a regulated capitalist system, the economic gains personally, or corporately lead to improvements in the country through a larger tax base.  Regardless of what the Dems and others in the Federal government will tell you, Government is not a wealth producer.

For me, it's pretty simple.  I look at what Biden has accomplished in 47 years that is good for America, and what Trump has accomplished in 3 years, and there simply is NO comparison.  Trump blows Biden out of the water.

Ditto and will add.. Fake Impeachment, Fake 3 year Russian investigation,  weaponizing the FBI

I am not hearing / seeing a compelling reason to vote for Trump. Healthcare? Immigration? Environment?  Anything concrete in these areas?

I can get the talking points against Trump or Biden from the yammering on the 24 hour news.

Have you seen a compelling reason to vote for Biden?  Like I said, the one biggest reason I have seen is that Trump loves this country, I do not get the same feeling from Biden and his past history as a public servant.

Beyond that you need to provide more of what your own political priorities are and how they align with the current choices.

Btw, you can look back at the last several presidential elections, and there are very few compelling reasons to vote for one candidate over the other.  Heck, there are a lot of people who voted for President Obama simply because of the color of his skin as opposed to anything concrete.

Biden exhibits objective signs of dementia or senility and refuses to take a cognitive-ability test.  He's never seen in public unless in a tightly scripted situation with his wife or another handler at his side.  Already, the media are lobbying for no debates with the President.  This is not a safe individual to have forming trade agreements with other countries, or with his finger near the nuclear button.

Someone (or a group of someones) is behind Biden, pulling his strings.  If Biden is elected, this someone will have presidential power without having declared his/her candidacy, running for office, or having expended funds or effort.  This remains true even if the 25th Amendment is applied to Biden and Kamala Harris takes over.

Harris' campaign didn't even make it to the Hawkeye Cauci.  Without my looking, she was favored by something like 7% (or was it 3%) of Democrat voters.  Approximately 51% of (all Democrats?  Democrats of color?) view her unfavorably.  Some consider her to be a hypocrite, if not a phony.

These two have adopted Bernie Sanders' socialist platform.  If one or more of these programs are implemented, tens of millions of U.S. jobs will be lost.  The Constitution, and particularly the Second Amendment, will be shredded.  As the least of our worries, we'll have to wear face-diapers for the foreseeable future, amidst other constant assaults on our liberty as a free people.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

What I asked for is a Pro statement for each candidate in the perspective of this forum. What I got is

Reasons to vote for Biden 0

You live in Washington state, correct?  You might as well stay at home.  You already know which way your state is going.

If you do vote, vote for Joe.

He has promised to raise your taxes.

He has promised to give free healthcare to illegals.

He has promised reparations for blacks because of slavery.
