Hello everyone I filed the I-751 form on June 01 and they received on June 02
I got the notification from USPS and the person name who signed but after 15 days, I didn't receive any notification or update from my case, so I was wondering what can I do the website said:

"NOTE: Do not submit an inquiry if you recently filed an application. You should receive a receipt notice within 30 days after filing at a Service Center or 30 days after filing at a Lockbox. "

but other cases the credit/check was charge after 3-5 days after USCIS received their forms so I believe is something wrong with my case...

also in USCIS online website to make a claim or ask for an update on your case you have to write a Receipt Number something that I don't have yet...
any help or information I will be more than happy to heard

Sorry to hear that, generally if they don't respond for more than 2/3 weeks it generally means a rejection, which could be due to a multitude of reasons like forgetting to sign, sending too soon, etc. Hoping yours is not a case like that but just FYI. I am assuming your money was not deducted yet ?

I included nothing like photos or plane tickets or any of that. I mean, if I have her on my insurance, what does it matter that we went to NYC together? BF/GF travel together, only spouses are on each other's insurance. And credit cards. And bank accounts.

After reading through a few of these threads, I do wish I had include 1) a marriage certificate and 2) a copy of my wife's passport with her name changed.

hey, i'm also in Washington, DC. will follow your timeline! if you can, can you please update your timeline?

There’s a form you can submit authorizing credit card charge instead of using a check- G1450- you just include it at the top of your paperwork👍

Does it have to be a credit card?  Or can you put your Credit Union bank visa debit card on the form too?

Thanks!

Thanks!

I’m not sure on this- check the link below and see what you can make of it, and maybe someone here has personal experience of paying this way?

I’d probably err on the side of paying with only credit card (or check/money order) as the risk is that if they don’t accept debit, your application gets rejected for not including the fee, which would be no fun at all!

June 7, 2020 was the date I dropped it at the post office.

I know I am cavalier,  but I didnt even send it certified. Just dropped it in regular mail :)

Sent off our packet just now! As I was standing in line at the post office I found a new thing to worry about-whether the packet would be damaged in shipping! We didn’t put any filler in the box 😳 Always something to worry over 😂

4.9 lbs for us. We used 3 large binder clips to hold everything together, and sent in a large priority mail box.

I expect it will be at least July before we hear anything, since it isn’t expected to arrive at the lockbox until Friday. It is a weight lifted to have that packet off my hands though. Here’s hoping this is the last packet we have to send to prove our relationship is real! Best wishes everyone!

I figured first, very little actually gets lost in the mail and second, we have plenty of time to re-file if it actually does get lost. We had copies of everything and I didnt send some extra thick packet with photos etc etc anyway. Mostly finances.

That was my thinking. I gambled and won :)

Just got an online case status update as follows:

As of June 16, 2020, fingerprints relating to your Form I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE, Receipt Number YSCXXXXXXX, have been applied to your case.

That being said, I have not had a biometrics appointment and I’m assuming these are from the initial AOS application? Any ideas? Has anyone heard of this happening?

ROC Timeline:

June 1 2020- sent package I-751

June 4 2020- Delivered to TX PO Box

June 9 2020- Credit Card charged for the $680

June 16 2020- Online case update; fingerprints applied to case
