Just curious, what are some of the issues you faced while checking your package?

When I started out with my application I had downloaded the form from USCIS website at that time I had no idea I had a long time expired form from somewhere on it

so I filled out the wrong form before

then I double check and I realized I didn’t sign the form only one signature was on it

so I’m just saying sometimes it’s some little things that throws us off

Its sooo easy to think worse case scenario with these things. I’m sure I stress out and age an extra year everytime I have to send one in. Try not to worry too much tho. Did you make a complete copy before sending? Make sure you have the right forms, everything was signed and dated by both you and your spouse where necessary,  no boxes missed, card numbers are accurate... Outside of all that, sometimes there’s just a lagger than gets through just fine but just takes a bit longer to catch up.

Hi there! I sent our package in and we received a text on 6/8 that our case was received with a MSC case number. Anyone know the processing times for that center? I couldn't find it online. Good luck everyone!

It used to depend on which center had juridiction in your state of residence. But now, it's all over the place as they've expanded the centers adjudicating ROCs to all centers (vs just California and Vermont previously). On top of that, they sometimes transfer applications to "balance" the workload, so who knows.

The only trend I can see is that people who got their Green card through CR-1 tend to go to the National Benefit Center (MSC) because it's the one that re-routes applications to local offices for interviews. Then again, there have been cases of cancelled interviews and approved ROCs because of COVID, so maybe this trend will change too.
