I know. We just really need to get back though

Sounds like you're together?

Filed our i130 March 5 on line. It shows it was touched March 17 but no approval as of yet. I only check 500 times a day! Really needing to get home as soon as possible. We are still at the Nebraska service center and haven’t been transferred like many others. I don’t know if this is a good thing or bad thing.

Are the approvals coming from a specific service center or just all of them?

From Texas, Nebraska takes the longest, sometimes they'll transfer cases to other service centers.

I hope we are transferred then. I keep checking to see if we have a notice of transfer and double checked with an agent on line as I’ve read sometimes a notice isn’t sent when transferred. My husband is working away and due to this pandemic, we are separated. I need to get home to take care of my mother who is ill but I can’t leave my husband behind.

Today I started chat with a rep and it was so shocking that he/she told me that they are not able to provide any information about my case and asked me to contact at Vermont office in VAWA unit. I am so confused. My case is processing at TSC.

that sounds very strange, try doing another chat and see if they tell you anything.

I filed i130 for spouse in March 2020. I got priority date of March 13. But I got assigned to nebraska. Is it real nebraska takes more than 1 year for approval.

*~*~*processing time question moved from “process and procedures” to “progress reports”*~*~*

Yes, it can take up to a year. Nothing that can be done about that unless you feel you would qualify for an expedite.

From what i understand the approval times are all over the place. I don't think 1 places time frames are accurate.
