Is there something special about your case that you think could've had something to do with how fast you were approved? Like married for a long time, kids together or something like that?

None of that would affect it.

Being married a long time would just result in a 10 year green card, the kids or being pregnant, they don't care.

My best guess with the info is that it was an accident when he case got forwarded, but a nice one!

no nothing special at all really. we got married in the US in january and dont have kids. Really have no idea how this happened... wish everyone else gets a fast approval too!

Congratulations again. No need to try to justify why your case was approved when it was approved. Stay happy & celebrate  😃

 

There is also no need for others to be jealous. Every case is unique and reviewed according.

I logged into my account yesterday and noticed an updated date to April 29th, 2020. Anyone else see something similar? From other posts on the forum it's supposed to be a good sign, but who really knows?

It means your case was touched. Some people see multiple touches without any approval.

we were March 28th, but found out last week that we are being move to Nebraska??? So not really sure where our file is at this time

we haven't gotten formal written notification. My husband called about a different question and was told one the phone. Thats why we aren't really sure where its at.

did you file online? if they sent you something it should show in there, also if you see a recent date that means your file was touched, that might tell you when it happened.

Just checked mine and nothing has changed.
