N-400 May 2020 filers

Calling all N-400 May filers. I just submitted mine online an hour ago, May 1st. Hopefully covid-19 won't affect us too much.

I have a question regarding the online N-400 Form:  Is there a way to find out when the online N-400 was last updated and when will it expire (I know about the expiration date of the hardcopy I am interested in the online N_400)?  Someone mentioned once that there is an expiration date on the online N-400 but I can't find it.  Thanks...

Filed today.  I was hoping to get it done before the end of April, but I just did not have the motivation.

The only expiration I saw on the online application was that you had 30 days from the date you started the application to have it completed.  There isn't a "form" to fill out online, you just answer  questions when you apply online.

Same here, I have been eligible since April 19 but hadn't prepared anything at all for the N-400. Had basically just been focusing on getting that darn ROC done and over with before filing the N-400, and had no idea how long that would take. 

 

Luckily the N-400 online was very smooth, easier than the paper form (which I tried to fill out first). Easy to upload documents (and no cost for ink and copy paper), easy submission, easy payment etc. Highly recommend online filing if possible.

Hello All! Sent in my husband's application on March 26, but filed on an outdated form. Of course the application was rejected and returned to us. We sent it out again on April 30th and it is scheduled to arrive today. Hoping for the best!

I'm curious if anyone has sent any family photographs with the N400 (based on 3 years of marriage) as evidence?

My evidence box is pretty light lol (no car / mortgage lease. first apartment lease we had both our names on but i only got a photo of it, lost the original paper and the new apt lease it never occurred to me to think of long term and is only under my name) so I'm thinking if sending a bunch of family photos is a good idea.

You can send as many pictures as you like, but they're only considered secondary evidence. They want to see evidence of co-mingled finances and co-habitation.

Ugh. I spent several hours going through old mail and documents. I'm not sure if what I have us enough. What do you guys think? 

 

-GC front and back

-marriage certificate

-Wife's US passport and citizenship cert

-Our child's US birth cert 

 

-3 years Tax transcripts and tax returns

-Last 3 months of joint checking account statements (I realized I needed more finance Co mingling pretty late so the account was opened this year. One other reason for no joint stuff is, wife is a home maker so I deal with all the finance stuff, bills, groceries etc so we never had a need for having a joint something) 

 

- 3 years of renters insurance policy with both our names

- a single utility bill with both our names on it. 

 

This looks pretty light to me. 😭 Wish I knew earlier I'd have gotten our names on the apartment lease and prolly got a beater for a car lease with both our names.

May filer here. Filed my N400 online yesterday. Do you all see the estimated wait time showing under the case? Mine say 8 days. Guessing it for NOA??!!?? Also I have received only an email confirmation about the payment with the case number. Is there anything else anybody has received immediately after submitting. The status says email notice was sent...I don’t see anything except payment receipt.

Same, I got the same payment confirmation email and nothing else. I'm sure more will come. Hopefully the first NOA does come in 8 days.

Actually I just saw that the NOA 1 is there in my case on myuscis account. I downloaded it. Hope they send the same in mail too.

Check the document section within your case. It should be there in the document.
