Thanks for sharing! I watched the video that they pulled the quotes from and the ambassador implied that visa services will resume in phase 3 of the DOS reopening plan. Hoping that's not true because that requires quite a bit to be open, including land borders, but it's nice to hear something.

Land borders in Jamaica open June 15th

There has been some visa activity in Islamabad according to some AP groups my husband and I are in.  This was received by a member a week or so ago.   Others have recieved updates on ceac   (changed to ready or just date chages) but the embassy has not updated their website.  I'm unsure of exactly what the status of the embassy is at this point.

it says Routine visa services suspended

It says much more then that in the image, if you bother to read it. Namely that they are now issuing visas that can be issued without interview. Which they haven’t been doing since the Coronavirus started. Meaning they are also slowly opening the embassy up. Routine visa services are indeed still suspended, because they aren’t issuing visas that require interviews.

And for those wondering which visas in Croatia can be granted without interview (or rather can submit a waiver to not have an interview), here is the link. Maybe that will help with the confusion: https://hr.usembassy.gov/visas/interview-waived/

"The department's moves to reopen the consulate in Wuhan come as it also looks to bring people back into work around the world. According to a State Department spokesperson, 97 overseas posts are in Phase I and 35 are in Phase II of reopening." https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/09/politics/consulate-general-wuhan/index.html
