Hi everyone - I also had some luck chatting with Emma today on the USCIS website. I was directed to a live representative who told me that my husband's biometrics had been recently scheduled for 8/28. We are in Houston, TX. We haven't received a letter in the mail yet but hopefully that's coming soon!

485/131/765 all show

Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken

Hey Kayden, Did you get your biometrics letter for all three applications? I'm curious because mine just said for I765/I485. I had my biometrics yesterday and I asked the officer about my I131 and she said it was not scheduled yet for that particular application, which I found odd. Anyway My I765 and I485 status changed to Fingerprints were taken but nothing on I131.

Hi, i have the same question, my wife received letter for all three applications. On august the 12th she had biometrics done in Atlanta. When we check status it only shows that fingerprints were taken for i764 &  i485,  for i131 there is no change.

I had the same issue.

I talked to someone there and he told me, they never have all three biometrics on one appointment letter and that they are processed separately (which was new to me). So he checked for me, if my AP is processed yet, but nothing. I'm not even in line yet for my biometrics for the AP. He also told me that most people who have all three on one day still bring two different appointment letters and are just lucky to get them all done at once. But to his knowledge it was pre-covid. So who knows how it will be handled now 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm just irritated that I probably have to go a second time for biometrics. So a 3 hours drive (one way) for a 5 min appointment. Great.... 😫

Has anyone else in this group gotten IOE (National Benefits Center) as their receipt? Our AOS & EAD got IOE and our AP got MSC. But the National Benefits Center isn’t an option for processing times for AOS, so we have no idea what the timeframe is like.

On a side note, I can’t wait for this to all be over so I can stop talking in acronyms 😂

Because AOS cases will eventually be transfered to a local field office to process and schedule an interview.

We had 2 letters from USCIS, one was for the 485/765 and the next day we received another one for 131, but for a different date/location.  (the different location was probably because they didn't update our change of address on the 131). Contacted USCIS and they stated just to take both notices to the appointment that was near us.

in other words, yes we got a separate letter for the 131, and uscis stated just take it in with the others and get it done. I don't think they'll do it if you dont have the letter for it. then again, i cant see why they cant just copy the bio information from the 485/765 to the 131 later on

Cool, Thanks for clarifying. I guess now we wait for another letter :)

Wow, that's kind of a pain in the butt about the different letter/bio appointments for 131. I'm pretty sure I've read on forums from previous months that there were other people that shared that the one appointment did end up counting for all three and USCIS just ended up updating their 131 information later.  I really hope they do that for people and don't make everyone go back!

Sure! I called to expedite it on a Monday and then I got a case status update on Friday saying the card was picked up by USPS.. the next day it was in my mailbox. So I guess that was 5 days total. (I couldn’t believe this was possible tbh).

Please forgive me if someone already asked this question, but did you have an in-person meeting with someone from the USCIS? Or did you just submit your evidence (letter from doctor etc.) digitally? Thank you!

Same thing wife just went yesterday it updated her 485 and her and 765 but nothing on the i-131 travel doc... Weird cause we applied concurrently so wouldnt the AP and EAD be together since it is a combo card.

No need to worry. There is no biometrics for I-131 . If u have done your biometrics for I-765 its enough. I have my 5 friends and family. They didn’t get any biometrics appointment for I-131 . They were approved for 765 and i-131 as they are now a combo card. So guys just relax . You don’t need to do separate biometrics for i-131

That's totally fine, don't worry! I'll share as much info as I can in order to help. I didn't have to have an in-person meeting. We did everything on the phone and submitted the evidence through fax. (After the first phone call, they emailed me that they needed the evidence in order to make a decision. So that's where they provided me with the fax information.) And btw, all the documentation I had was digital, no originals because of the distance situation. That was enough for them. However, I do think that sometimes they do require the in-person meeting. Maybe it depends on the urgency of each situation?

Thank you for your reply. This is really weird... I have a family member recently deceased and I want to go back to my home country to attend the funeral. A Tier 2 officer scheduled me an in-person meeting two weeks from now. I mean I understand each person's situation is different, but how is waiting for weeks a solution to an "emergent" AP? I was wondering if you can share their fax number so maybe I can try and send in my supporting documents too?
