so i got my CR1 visa, and it also says serves as temporary I-551 for a year.

with this covid-19 epidemic they canceled flights from Canada to US.. so after POE in Toronto can continue by land to get to US soil?

Following.. also from Canada. Currently here on AP with a pending green card application. I’ve been out of US on AP for a couple months now and was planning to go back in a week but not now. Wonder if USCIS will forgive longer absences out of the country for taking precautions during this pandemic. Canada has said don’t travel to the states and I plan to adhere to that. I’ve also been in contact with someone who had a cough but seems to have recovered now. Wondering how uscis is going to handle this.

Which airline were you with? I have a flight from YYZ to the US booked for a few weeks from now with American Airlines and they haven't cancelled it yet. (Though I probably will cancel myself while we wait this out... :( )  So far land borders are still open. My USC husband drove through this morning.

You won't POE in Toronto.  That would only be if you're flying.  If you drive then you POE at the land border.  Make sure you don't need a transit visa.

Edit: I forgot green card holders don't need a visa to go to Canada, and you have the I-551, so you should be OK.
