Please any one have an explanation for this message that appeared today?

I sent a regular query to the embassy today asking about the status of my visitor visa ( as i am  being 9 months in Administrative processing) , they replied by saying you are still undergoing AP and you dont have to send queries regularly.

Is that a final refusal or WHAT? please any hope?

To clarify, it is a refusal. It has always been a refusal pending the completion of AP. No change there...they just changed the status text.

Unfortunately, regardless of any verbal approval or approval letter from the consul officer, the only true indication of visa approval is when the CEAC status turns "Issued".  It is not unheard of for

Hello everyone. I am very confused and upset. My sister had cr1 interview in novermber 2019 at Islamabad embassy. After the interview the VO congratulated that she is approved and she will get her passport with visa with in 2/3 weeks. She was not given any form 221g or asked to submit any documents. After that case status date changed few times. Untill yesterday march 2 it was showing *Administrative processing” with case last updated date as January 9 , 2020 but today i check the status and its showing *REFUSED* but the case status update date still January 9, 2020.

You should receive a letter stating the grounds for refusal.  What country are you from?

Edit:  Just spotted the reference to Frankfurt at the bottom of your notice so presuming Germany (?)  Is there anything you can think of that you forgot to disclose when applying, overstays, or anything at all that could have led to this outcome?

Only the letter from the consulate will explain the outcome.....members on here can speculate but it will only stress you more than you already feel.

The screenshot above clearly says it will stay “refused” while under AP. You were told you are still in AP. So I’m not sure why you are thinking it’s final, especially as the “last updated” is June last year...

Last update is the interview date 5th-June and since that date no update happened, Could it be because they were upset of me sending queries once a month?!!!! I sent him today an email asking about my statues.. could that be a reason?!!!!!!!

Mine too, it went from admin processing to refused after I had sent an email inquiring if the documents sent on the 11th of February was received. I’m worried
