  I agree, but as I said, it's more polarized all around nowadays. The Republicans are farther to the right than they ever were. If somebody asked me to list 5 truly moderate politicians, I might be able to come up with a list, but it would probably take some time. Thirty years ago, you could actually find them. Then again thirty years ago, a moderate might actually have a chance of getting enough votes to do well.

other than appeasing the Pro life base, Trump is one of the more moderate Pub Presidents in my life

Is this some sort of Noam Chomsky linguistic riddle or is the question just straight forward? I sense an agenda here. 

 

If I state that the dad is bad, it would infer that the poster takes on the role of dad (unpack that) and I would affirm the badness if the poster and that would be a personal attack on a member who also happens to be a mod.

 

If I state the Pun is bad I imply that the disease of bad punnery is the fault of the words and not the poster.
