Hi all, this has been a very helpful forum for me. So I want to share my experience too.

i applied for I-751 in November 2018 and N400 in January 2020. My I-751 was transferred to new office (NBC) 2 days after N400 application. I felt like I made the biggest mistake of my life by filing N400... I wrote to NBC, Ombudsman and called USCIS helpline a number of times but none of this yielded results..

I went for my N400 interview today and my N400 and i751 was approved on the spot and I did a same day oath ceremony..

to everyone in a similar situation, hang in there and don’t be discouraged. You’re almost there!

Congrats to everybody who has seen some progress with their cases. Is there anyone from IL who has gotten any traction on theirs? This really gets me upset cause I really wanted to able to vote and now I can’t. I think they suppressing immigrant voter registration, I’m so mad. Been waiting with the rest of you guys since January and there is absolutely ntn on my case. It’s not like I can try to get it expedited 😣😩

no update for illinois, like you i am also waiting. geez people from February and march are having Oaths and we are still just waiting. Ridiculous

I've the same timeline. I751 pending since Nov 2018. Filed N400 in January 2020. After biometrics nothing on both cases.  Milwaukee has been pretty slow.

I’m not in IL but I share your pain. Still waiting. Really wanted to vote this year. I’m grateful I’m already here and living with my husband, but I just want to be done. I felt like I was at the end of my patience in June...ugh.

I also submitted in IL and had zero updates. My case still says that they expect completion in Oct, but I don't see that happening.

Minneapolis/St Paul, still sitting with "we have reviewed your biometrics", no movement at all. Sigh.

Congrats to everyone getting to vote!! 💖

I wish I had a same day oath ceremony , how long is the wait. ?? Is anyone reading my messages or no. ??

The wait time varies. Looking at the spreadsheet, there is one that waited 2 days, but most are 3 weeks to a month.

Albany, NY filler nothing since Feb, 2020 biometric appointment. I tried everything I could to expedite my case but nothing worked so now I'm kinda done with all this meaningless and tireless effort and trying not to overthink about my immigration process

Did you try reaching out to your congressperson?  I think you have an I 751 pending too, right?  I sent an email back when my n400 was scheduled the first time to ensure the i751 got moved from Vermont.

I also called USCIS for infopass to get an ADIT stamp so I’d have something to show status, and when I went in for that, the IO was like “whoa you’re still waiting?” and she typed in something on her screen for a good minute.

This was definitely the longest leg of the immigration journey.  You are almost there!!
