Hello! After many, many months of revisions and hard work, we finally sent our i129f 12/07. I received my NOA1 text today with my WAC receipt number! I can't wait to have my fiancé here with me 💕

Hi! Received physical NOA1 in the mail 12/13! Case was received 12/3, notice date in NOA1 is 12/6.

Question- how do we know if our request for expedite has been acknowledged or approved/refused? We have included a letter of request for it including supporting docs like military and deployment orders. Just wondering if the USCIS actually gives a separate notice about that or adds a statement about that in the NOA1.

I'd recommend calling and asking. USCIS has established a toll-free military help line exclusively for members of the military and their families. USCIS customer service specialists are available to answer calls Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (CST), excluding federal holidays. After-hours callers receive an email address that they can use to contact USCIS for assistance.

You do not get a case number. What you are refering to is the receipt numbe commonly referred to as the WAC#. NOA1 is issued 1-3 weeks after check is cashed. YMMV

Interesting, I think that is awesome that the USCIS has expedited service to our military service members.

Any news?

I called the USCIS on the 12th. She said the NOA1 was sent through mail but I haven’t received it. Weird since I’m right here near Dallas. She did give me my WAC#. I’m not worried though. She said as long as my check was cashed then no worries because they have my application. So I guess I’ll receive some mail soon.

Congratulations I told you so. Not everyone gets notified via SMS. Sometimes NOA1 just shows up in your mailbox.

Thank you. I’m still waiting on some type of confirmation just to have. It’s been 7 days since they mailed it which shouldn’t take this long. I’ll let you know when I receive something electronically or in hand.

Don't over think this process or it will drive you nuts. The NOA1 isn't used for anything so there is no need to be calling around and loosing your mind over this. It will get there when it gets there. Your file is with USCIS in California not Dallas Tx so mailing time does not factor in to your equation. Just saying.

You have the WAC number that is the main thing.  The NOA1 hard copy is actually  not needed again once you get it, but I understand you want it. Give it a bit more time then go to the USCIS website there is a link there where you can request another document (NOA1) be sent to you.
