This will give you an idea that your wait is relatively short in comparison to others. The chart shows K-1's who applied to the receiving of their visa's.

If I’m reading correctly, these people went from NOA1 to NOA2 much quicker than we are seeing. We aren’t referring to total days at this point.

And they also weren't delayed by a world wide pandemic. That's why I recommend that you don't concern yourself with others as your timeline will not be the same.

Your posts give good perspective. I know many of us December filers are just frustrated seeing even March filers being approved despite the pandemic. Although I don’t see those approvals moving after NOA2 so it wouldn’t matter anyway. I wish we could all get some kind of update. Enjoy the weekend everyone.

I've said it to many that December has gotten the raw deal when it comes to processing. The entire month has been troublesome for all. The only thing you can do is wait for things to clear up.

How long does it take them to receive your RFE and approve your case

Under normal conditions its has been 2-3 weeks. But now "your mileage may vary"

Can you have you complete your profile. We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

We received our NOA2 today after 208 days of waiting. I wish everyone good luck who is still waiting. It’s been frustrating to wait so long for sure.

Congrats. Hopefully the embassies open soon.

Hi everyone 🙂

I'm still waiting for NOA2. Someone else?
How many months is the maximum to receive a response?

NOA 1: DEC 18

NOA 2: 😭

I believe you can submit a case inquiry today. I’m waiting until next week to submit my own.

I sent a case inquiry last week, and I'm now on day 219.

NOA1 date 16th dec.

Received a response earlier today, and it says that they are adjudicating cases, no real indication of the actual case, only that they'll get to it when they do.

It's a hard wait, but I see some December filers still waiting, so fingers crossed for everyone!

Once you get NOA2, you will be waiting again. With embassies closed worldwide and visas not being granted you can't do anything.

Very true, London US embassy is opening back up on 27th July for immigrant and non-immigrant petitions, so would have been nice to have the noa2 ready!

Nevermind, what will be will be! Positive thoughts and all!

The day has arrived!

Today on my visa tracking app, I received a notification that our visa has been approved July 28, 2020! 🤩🤩
Finally after waiting so long we got it! We are now one step closer 😌 . I hope everyone that is still waiting will receive the same positive news as we did. 🙏

Congratulations on your "Petition approval"
