once you are in NVC stage, how long do you have to submit the affidavit? is there a time limit or something?

1 year, but can be extended indefinitely by contacting NVC once a year.

I am going to submit my application online.

For the payment method, does it ask for credit card number?

I'm living abroad, currently I don’t have a credit card.

Can I use my sister's credit card, who lives in the US?

Or is it going to raise an issue?

I used a debit. not sure about credit but as long as it's US, it won't raise anything

My husband (USC) put in his CC at the end of the application. I think from reading this thread in earlier pages, a credit card from anywhere is good.

If I’m incorrect I’m hoping someone can clarify. I think you will find out once you process the payment.

I (Beneficiary) used my Dutch credit card when filing for the I-130 online, without any issues.

When paying the fees at the NVC stage, after the USCIS approves your I-130,  you'll need a US bank account however.

I just started an I-130 in USCIS online. It timed me out. I cannot seem to resume the form. The option on my home screen (https://my.uscis.gov/account/onboarding) are add paper, file a form online, enter pass code and verify identity, File a form opens a link that redirects back to my home page. Confirm identity starts by requesting an A- number which we do not have.

I see that others have had huge success with filing on line. after two hours I am stuck with a partially completed form.

What did I do wrong.

Not sure to be honest.

I messed up at first then I just logged back in, deleted everything and started a new one.

Or you can start a new one with another email.

Hello, I was filling i l-130 for my spouse, for additional evidence it's asking for religious records, school records, census records, affidavit and dna test result.
What documents do I give?

Is it asking for my documents? Or spouse's?
Please help. TIA

That would mainly be in cases where you were missing primary evidence.  Like if someone didn't have a birth certificate available or if paternity could be questioned.  Situations like that.  Not required for most strait forward cases.

In the bottom of the notice it says Texas service center? Does it mean it will be processing there?

That means Texas service center is where the petition was first assigned.  USCIS may transfer the petition at any time.
