I filed on 11/12 and had my biometrics done on 12/12 but haven't received anything yet but I also sent the I-693 with the original application.

Given that Dallas field office processing time on USCIS website shows anywhere between 1-2 years, I was not expecting to hear anything anytime soon.

Keep us posted!

Update: received a Request for Initial Evidence from the NBC on Jan.3. As expected I need to submit a long form birth certificate. Fortunately I read about such and now have it to send in ASAP. Hopefully next communication is interview. FYI I filed Oct. 25 but posted in this November filers group as other October filers were early in the month etc.

My case status (form 485) now says evidence received Jan. 10 and they can now continue working on my file. They will notify when decision made or if further evidence is needed.

As of Jan.16 says now ready to schedule for interview. A relief as I’d received a RFIE. 🙂

Congratulations. No idea what USCIS is doing though, how someone can file a month after, have bio a month after and then have the case ready to be scheduled before someone else is beyond me.
