Sent in my package on Nov 11th to USCIS Dallas, TX.
USCIS received my package on Nov 14th.
Got a text message saying your case was received on Nov20th.

Question:
How long does it take after NOA2?

Varies per case. On average 3-4 months to get NOA2. And then another 2-3 months until interview.

But every case is different

It depends on the service center. But generally they are processing August cases nowadays... Fingers Crossed:)

No one can say with any certainty how long it will take. Depends on how long it takes to get to NVC. Then how long it takes NVC to assign a case number. Then when will it ship out. Then how long before your embassy checks your case file into their systems and sets your case to "ready". You'd have better luck pinning the tail on the donkey then guessing when all this is going to happen. Had to make guess maybe 3-4 months. Your mileage may vary.

Say, can you do a little housekeeping for us please. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Hi all!

My fiance sent our I-129F to Lewisville on Nov 15th, it was received on Nov 18th and he said he's received our text this afternoon with receipt number starting with WAC. Very excited!

Any tips on stuff we should be doing to get ahead on the next steps right now or do we just sit and wait patiently?

Take a short breather wait on the hard copy. Not much really to do until NOA2.

That's awesome, congrats on getting started! Same exact dates for me but no text yet. Hopefully any day now so I can start waiting again!

I'm waiting for my number so I can mail in some additional information that needs to be added, so I hope it's soon.

Haste makes waste, I'm sure you have heard that! Immigration preparations whether K1, Cr1 AOS can't  be rushed, if you do your bound to get into trouble,  but I do understand  what you are saying. Relax while you can trust me there will be time to get busy, I'll be here with you!!!!!
