hello we have been waiting for noa2. Our rfe was received March 17  and we have been waiting since that 😌 and is there p3 for turkey? Anyone from turkey?

If you set up your timeline you can enter that information and the rest of us here on VJ will know what stage your in and if you need help we can easily attempt to accommodate your request.

 

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

How are the two of you getting by? This has been rough for you guys. I have walked that mile before and it ain't sweet. But, it was much easier for us as we were just waiting on the GC and it took 14 months. Not same like you guys, but I can imagine can't I? Stay strong and keep your gunpowder dry, you hear.

Well the virus is helping. Nz in full lock down and I'm an essential worker so I keep trucking.  I'm sure it will go for many more months yet we are just hoping that one day there will be a yes.

301 days since  receipt!? Wow, I am sorry my friend. Chin up. At least you can have some comfort knowing that even if it made it through there are no interviews now so what's the rush right?

We were approved March 12. Never received Noa 2. Requested online a status update and received a letter stating we were approved and to request a duplicate Noa2 send form i824 and pay the fee. I looked that up and it costs $465?!?!?!? Please tell me that we're ok with out the noa 2 or that there is another way.

Ok. This answer is going to cost you half what they were charging. I know the "check is in the mail". 

 

If you have lost your NOA2 (aka I-797) misplaced it, the dog ate it or for whatever the reason: RELAX and DO NOT FILE AN I-824!! If you want reassurance make an infopass appointment and ask for a printed copy of your approval on their system. If you don't have a receipt number on your K1 visa they will give it to you if you provide your A number (on your K1 and I-94).

 

It happens to people all the time, it is not a big deal, and it should not hold up your application. Now about that payment.
