Good to see members on here connecting. It is a good way meet fellow immigrants to help each other get accustomed to the change.

Filipina's attract each other like magnets. My wife just made a one day road trip to Chicago with her new filipina friends here in St. louis. We'll have to get together sometime. I like to make it up to Chicago two or three times a year)

Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.

Sounds good.  We are going to Evansville, Indiana for the wedding next week.  We would travel to meet people too.  We had Thanksgiving Dinner in Hong Kong last year with a couple here.  That was interesting.  We ate at Jamie's (Jamie Oliver's) and it was a full blown Italian Thanksgiving with the most amazing turkey I've ever had.  That was the first traditional Thanksgiving for the Filipinos in the group.  Us Americans were happy with the spread.

Yes it amazes me how many couples we have met from on here over the years.     And the number of Filipinos hiding here in the Hills of Tennessee is surprising.

big Filipinos population here in Chattanooga and they have regular gatherings keeping each other informed of everything from immigration to markets for international foods

I have met a few members from this site / even at the Casa embassy when our husband's or fiancee's  interviewed

it is definitely a plus to share and learn all the ups and downs associated with this process

My first meeting with my wife, as an official couple, was in Hong Kong.  We also had a date night at Jaimie's.  Great atmosphere and service.  Small world indeed.

Heck of a day!!    Bet you are all smiles ..      :)

Next wait for your case file to reach NVC (figure 10-14 days from receiving the NOA2), then it can be a few more weeks before they will have the embassy case number to affix to your file before shipping it to Manila.

https://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/nvc.html   <<  Email NVC to get your case number, then forward the email from NVC to your fiancee as she will need it for St. Luke's.

Watch CEAC for your status to show READY ... then it is ROCK n ROLL time.

Wow.  That is a small world.  Jamie's was great.  I hear they are all closing now.

Yes a Glorious day indeed! My heart is still pounding, and bless Ren's heart, she just went to bed and is trying to sleep right now with all that adrenaline still rushing through her. I don't expect her to have a restful nights sleep but then again, the release of the stress may knock her right out! LOL
