Seriously, have you tapped my fiance's apartment? We were literally having a conversation this morning before I went to work about what to do tonight and he said he just wanted to stay in and watch John Wick 3. He's on his way over now (I'm making a cheeseboard and charcuterie for dinner, I'm feeling exceptionally lazy).

 

Drink and relax away! That's my plan tonight too, since I'll mostly be tuning out John Wick 3.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

So essentially cheese on a board with a knife?  Got it.  I usually buy my cheese at Costco though.

Costco cheese is fine, don't get me wrong, and they always have some interesting stuff. But for variety, local cheeses and also smaller portions (when you are only two, and you live apart, very necessary) Whole Foods has the edge, in my opinion. Also I don't have a car, so there's that.
