Why ignoring April to process June that is not fair at all

From Facebook:

”I think USCIS is having some major adjustments to their business processes since the I-130 filing went online. I have a feeling they‘re going towards a centralized platform and officers process applications remote (from wherever). So this might just mean that a local office is taking over your case - in the future they might get rid of „local office“ or „service center xyz“ and just out a status without location. I wouldn‘t worry too much about what they usually process.”

I'm seeing a positive trend in the USCIS online system. Over the past few days, I've seen multiple cases being approved from different service centers. (Example: NOA1 from Nebraska, NOA2 from another center, without notice of transfer) This to me indicates that USCIS is slowly moving towards a "pool" system in which cases will just be worked on by next available employee. On the 2nd note, I've seen the process from USCIS to NVC/CEAC/Embassy go quicker as systems go all electronic. There was also a big upgrade last year at the NVC stage and I believe people are starting to see the benefits on the applicant side. Although this doesn't apply to everyone at the moment, it is a positive trend. Stay strong everyone and don't worry too much about things you can't control. :)

I just saw this on FB. I really hope the process gets faster for all of us now that everything it's electronic, God bless us all.

My poor paper filed case is probably somewhere in a trashcan all forgotten about

Stay positive! As you can see on the previous page,  still 17% of Jan cases left.

I suppose somebody's January case has to be the last one processed.  It may as well be you or me.  I can't help but think that filing the I-129 backfired, because it stopped working in October right about the time I filed it.

Same. It makes me wonder what if that’s the reason why we are in the last 17%.

Hi everyone, new user here. How many have their significant other's visiting the US on a tourist visa while the I-130 is being processed? Attorney says it shouldn't hurt but others have said it's best to leave it alone as the consulate/embassy may reject it due to already having a pending visa process. We've been waiting for over a year now, still stuck in Nebraska and would be nice to be with your spouse even if for a little bit.

My wife visited 3 (maybe 4?) times with her tourist while her I-130 was processing. She didn't have any problems. Just need to make sure CBP doesn't think your s/o is going to overstay. There is always a chance of denial at the point entry but should be OK.

If the beneficiary already has a B2 or is from a VWP country then it’s usually possible to visit with no issue. If the beneficiary doesn’t already have a B2 though and isn’t from a VWP country then the likelihood of receiving a B2 visa is unfortunately very slim as you have to prove nonimmigrant intent to get a B2, which of course hard to prove when you have an immigrant visa in process. No harm in trying, though
