I've posted a couple times in this thread so I just wanted to give a final update on our case. On September 8 we got a notification that my husband was scheduled for his N-400 interview at the Charles

Applied for ROC on 8/23/19, application went to LIN, received notice today on 7/28/20 that card is being produced. No RFE, No interview   YAY!

Received our NOA i-797 this past Saturday- 18 month extension.  The wait begins....Good luck everybody!

Okay, seriously though, when should I start freaking out about USCIS not charging my card for a week now? Double-checked the numbers on the form, and I do remember signing the form, because the signature field is in a weird spot. Have proof of delivery last Monday, with signature. More than enough money on the card. Should I wait for 2 more weeks and then send another copy of the packet?

03-25-2017     AOS packet sent (i-130 + i-485 + i-765 concurrent).

03-27-2017     AOS packet received according to USPS tracking number.

04-06-2017     NOA1 emails and texts received.

04-10-2017     NOA1 hard copies received.

04-15-2017     Biometrics appointment letter received.

04-25-2017     Biometrics appointment.

05-06-2017     RFE mailed.

07-05-2017     RFE response mailed.

07-06-2017     RFE response received according to USPS tracking number.

07-12-2017     RFE response receipt on 07-10-2017 confirmed via email and text.

06-01-2019     ROC window opened.

08-01-2019     ROC packet sent.

08-08-2019     Rejection notice sent (unable to process the credit card, possibly because of the formatting of billing address).

06-29-2020     Notification that "Name was updated" (hopefully they are putting back the hyphen they had dropped when issuing the original GC).

Hi, July filer here. Don't send a new packet unless they return yours! If you have proof of delivery, it means they have your documents.

My credit card was charged exactly a week after date received, I'm sure yours will be charged any day now :)

Our i-751 packet was delivered on Aug. 2, our check was cashed on Aug. 6 and we received our Extension letter today (Aug. 12). We sent the packet via UPS and it was received through the Lewisville, TX facility.  

4/25/2017: Married

5/10/2017: Filed for AOS from K1 Visa

5/23/2017: NOA1 received by text and email

5/25/2017: NOA1 received in mail

6/12/2017: Biometrics appointment completed

7/27/2017: Case ready to be scheduled for interview

8/24/2017: Interview Scheduled

They haven't been adjudicated in 90 days for many years.   Extension letters were 6 months.  Last year when the averages were over a year, 18 month letters began to be sent out.

The extension letters are coming fast recently, we’ve received ours as well today, our petition was received 08/05. I’ve read on forums that it took some people over a month and multiple follow ups to receive it.

I noticed that the letter says we can still send more supporting documents, has anyone thought of that? We only submitted:

Drivers license showing the same address

Last bill for joint health insurance with health insurance card

Two joint car loans

Last joint LADWP bill

Last will and testament naming me as one of the beneficiaries

Multiple flight tickets 

Over 20 photos

Joint savings account

Joint business credit

My husband added to my business as a stakeholder 

Joint commercial lease 

Do you guys think we should send more stuff like LADWP bills with different dates, Facebook page printouts and chat printouts?

Hello Everyone!  Glad to see people are receiving NOA'a already!  As for us, we sent via USPS Priority mail on Friday 8/2.  The Postal clerk said we could save the extra $20 for Express Mail delivery because it would probably arrive on Monday 8/5 anyway.  We agreed and paid $7.95 for Priority mail. USCIS received our packet at Phoenix Lockbox on Monday 8/5  at 8:25am (according to Tracking) .  So USPS may be a cheaper alternative if you send on a Friday.  Got the Text on Thurs 8/8 and today Mon 8/12, we got the I-797 in the mail.  So it basically took 1 week from when USCIS received our packet to when we recieved  our NOA.  The NOA is an 18 month extension as is the case for everyone else who received one.  Let's hope it doesn't take longer than that as it will affect her filing for N-400 (US Citizen) next year! :)

Just as a reference: our package arrived on a Friday, our check was cashed the following Wednesday and our 18 month extension arrived today.

If you send on a Friday then both Express and Priority deliver on the following Monday.  So either $25.50 or $10.90 ($7.85 Priority + $3.05 for Signature Confirmation) for delivery on the same day.  Your choice. :)
