Finally got my estimate at least. Waiting for biometrics appointment to be scheduled. B86BE69C-7D93-4BB0-B19D-5226CDBE5EB4.thumb.jpeg.10256f2b10c6a35e71a35ea39e333876.jpeg

This is great. The last part where they say " its taking longer than expected to process" sounds absurd unless the actual processing time is 2 months instead of 5 months. If not they need better AI/ML to figure things out. 🙂

My estimated completion time went down to April 2020 (9 months) today. I had my biometrics appointment this morning. I was in and out in about 5 minutes. My status still shows “we scheduled your biometrics appointment”. Is it normal? How long does it take to “biometrics received”?

It varies and I think this depends on whether the local office you attended uploads the information immediately or whether they wait and submit it all at the end of the day.

Mine updated pretty much immediately. On the old USCIS site it shows "We are actively reviewing your case" and the new one says "BIometrics Received" so it may also depend where you are looking.  The old website updated first for me.

Ok. Thanks. I guess it is slowing down. I shouldn’t have complained of it being too fast
