*Joint bank statements for how many months/years?

*Electric bills- how many months?

*How to organize the photos? Can I send a photo album or they have to be glued on a regular white paper?

I agree about the evidence. We're not sending much either. My conditional green card was approved with tax returns and lease agreements only.

That is what I'm sending for ROC:

  • I-751 signed by both
  • $680 cheque
  • Copy of the green card
  • Copy of US citizen passport
  • Marriage certificate
  • Birth certificate of our daughter
  • Tax returns filing jointly for 2016, 2017, and extension for 2018
  • W2 for 2016, 2017, and 2018
  • Lease agreement showing both names for 2016, 2017, and 2018
  • Copies of medical insurance cards for 2018 and 2019
  • Some photos (about 5-6)

Even then it looks like a lot!

Compared to our AoS package, our RoC package is much smaller. We've provided documentation proof as listed on the instruction form and not deviated too much. We have proof of financial mingling for the last 3-4 years, which I think is the most important evidence USCIS is looking for anyway. We aren't including W2s either because we are including the last 3 years tax transcripts. All the best!

Thank you so much for this.  This is very helpful.  What does "June 5, 2019 Case is ready to be scheduled for an Interview" mean? Did they call you for an interview?

I would suggest that you consider sending copies of all joint bank statements......instead of just 3 months worth.

I sent mine and only sent 6 months worth of statements. Sending years of statements could be a lot of papers. Do you think it is absolutely necessary? I buddy of mine did just 3 months in the past and had no issues.

Personal choice...but........Some have gotten RFEs for not sending all of the joint statements.

We sent 12 months worth of statements (3 joint accounts and some credit cards). 3 months seems very little. If years of statements are too much, they will just discard it, if it's not enough, you will waste time with an RFE. Better safe than sorry, in my opinion.

I don't see a lease or deed of your house on your list. Is your wife the owner of the house? If you rent and the lease is in both of your names, I would add that. That's the main difference from my AOC and ROC, we added my name to the title of the house so I'm hoping that alone will be enough evidence lol

How about health or life insurance, showing the other spouse as beneficiary? That can be helpful too. We also added retirement plan showing the other spouse as beneficiary.

Submit a copy of the title/deed showing both names.  That eliminates any doubt as to property sharing.....and as I said, there have been RFEs issued for not including all bank statements.............good luck.
