This is an exciting time! You just wait now for the letter which will tell you where and when the interview will be. The letter will also list everything you need to take with you. You will need originals and copies of all the supporting documents you submitted with your application - birth and marriage certificates, divorce decrees (if applicable), government issued ID for the USC, showing citizenship. You'll also need proof of your sponsor's income. There is a good chance the IO will not ask to see any of this, but you need to be prepared. What we were asked for was proof of a bona fide marriage. She wanted to see photos, bills and/or health insurance with both our names - anything that showed that we live together and have combined some resources. The letter is pretty clear. I printed out so much stuff that just stayed in our folder 😄  At least we were confident, on that day, that we were prepared. Best of luck, although I'm sure you'll do well!

Did you submit the proof for bonafide marriage with the application as well?  In other words, did they ask you to show them things you had already sent with the application?

Yes. With the application, I included photos of our wedding. That's all we had at that point. They want to see evidence of what occured between the time you applied and the interview. She did ask specifically to see this evidence. We brought photos of us together and with my family, a utility bill with both our names, a joint bank account statement, and our health insurance policy, again with both names. They know you haven't been married long and they don't expect as much as they will when you apply for ROC.

The medical has to be within one year of the time of your application, not your interview. As long as your vaccines are done and it's marked "complete",it should be fine.

Aw, this is amazing! You are one of the lucky ones. Let us know if you get your interview in Seattle or another office.

109 days since they received my RFE. No update on AOS nor EAD. A painful and long process but your update is giving me hope!

Hey everyone, looks like we're one of the lucky ones as well, and our status changed to Interview Was Scheduled today.  We're in the SF area, so we were expecting sometime in late 2020 or early 2021 to get scheduled based on their 17.5 - 21.5 month estimate.  Let's see when they scheduled us for when the letter finally comes.

We'll take either.  I was getting jealous of folks in OKC, etc. that had very short waits, and was looking into how to move our case out of SF, so a drive to either is very manageable.  Still feel very lucky, and wish everyone else still waiting the same luck!
