My wife had her interview Monday in Bogota, Colombia. I accompanied her and we were told it was approved. Still took a couple of days to be issued, but boy are we happy.

hi there @Pom1 it's for the embassy of Ciudad Juarez, Mex.

Is the petitioner Citizen? If so, you are looking at getting your interview letter/email on January 2020.

If the petitioner is a US Resident then it's based off your priority date.

I'm a CZ petitioner with CC October 2018 and still waiting for my wife's interview date. 😢

I'll say in between 18-21 days but can be longer than that.

I've resubmitted 1 doc and it's been over 3 weeks they haven't touch the file. Been trying to speak with a supervisor today but no luck, might try again tomorrow :(

We got our NOA2 may 1st, and tried to give them a call after 4 weeks to get a status, but was told to call after 6 weeks have passed.

6 weeks passed yesterday, still no case number, and today a supervisor told us that they couldn't find our petition.....

She told us to scan a copy of our NOA2 and send it to NVC research email address, so they could look for it.

Has anybody had this happen to them?

hi i was approved on april 11

i contacted NVC after 6 weeks no case number.

its been more than 8 weeks now. I sent several NVC inquires with notice of approval but got the same answer that they dont have my case yet.

I called USCIS they said wait for 90 days.

Then i put service request case outside normal processing time.

Yesterday i tried to call USCIS because i was so frustrated i asked the the representative on phone if they transferred my case to NVC or not?

She said yes we did on june 12th.

i asked for confirmation number she said i just have the date no conf. number. That was a big relief for me. Last night i also got an email from NVC that they contacted USCIS and my case is on its way and NVC will contact me for further instructions.

so i guess they take 8 weeks max to transfer your file to NVC.

Goodluck 👍🏻

Guys u cant imagine my madness right now. I prepared all of the documents for the nvc stage just in case, so the processings would go faster. But my lawyer is taking her time. I told her ti change the interview location before uploading anything, because my husband lives  and workes in moscow anymore(he worked there at the moment of filing), and back to my country. So the lawyer filed some form of adress change. Two or three weeks passed still not upload due to her personal problems, and on friday she said she will upload the documents on Monday. By this time i already have completed payments and the ds-160 form. Can u imagine im calling her monday informing that the location on ceac has not changed yet, what should we do with, but she did not pick up her phone nor uploaded anything as promised. Voice message is left. Then im calling on tuesday several times finally reached, she said she is working on change of interview location since nvc ignored her request and asked tp wait till tomorrow. So on Wednesday I heard nothing. Today i called 3-4 times, no response, and finally left her message if i could request interview location by myself if she is busy with her clients. She still did not reply. I dont now what to do now. I need my husband to come during the summer, since when the fall starts i will be busy with the school and work and cant hangout with him normally, also the moving from one apartment to the other is also exhausting. What would u advice? Can i call nvc by myself?

FINALLY!!! Case number arrived last night! I guess it was not lost at the end, but they were taking their time to upload it…

The fact that we called after 8 weeks to escalate that worked because got our case number the next day. (But it makes me wonder, if we never called, how long would have been the wait…)

Paid the fees and waiting for that to be processed now!

You can call nvc yourself there is no harm but what do you want to know by them? If its something pending with your lawyer offcourse nvc cant help but if there is anything pending with nvc do call and ask them

calling them for followup is ALWAYS helpful

good luck

Thanks!

Good luck to fill the forms and upload everything!

I was planning on doing that this weekend, that way we have time to do it together with my husband but if the fees is processed within 2 working days it's probably mean that we are not going to be able to work on it during the weekend. Oh well, at least I finally got the case number!!

What do you mean by which category are you in?
