Hello everyone, Can you suggest any hotel that is walking distance to US Embassy Manila? An affordable and nice. Thank you in advance

Hello, There are a lot. you can have Bayview and Red Planet. Booking a condo using Airbnb is the best. Grand Reviera and Pearl of the Orient tower were mostly booked by applicant because it is near the footbridge where you will pass thru going to US Embassy like what we did.

Google will show you all you want to know, So many hotels in front of USEM.

I am staying in front of USEM at the moment, I found a US Pizza Joint called Papa Johns, Had them deliver a Peperino/Mushroom Pizza large delivery to my hotel room, it was like 700 peso.

Tasted just like it does in the USA, best Pizza I have had in Philippines to date.  Most other pizza joints in Philippines are not that good.

We stayed at Robinson's Residences in a large condo because the boss likes to cook when I am there. Not exactly budget price but well under US prices. Has a private entrance to the mall. 5-10 minute walk to the Embassy Annex. I booked through booking.com.

Had a huge rat run under our table at Shakey's in Robinson's Mall in Ermita. I asked..."Is that a rat?" They said yes and asked if we would like to move to another table. The rat then ran under the table next to us. They didn't even tell the filipino family sitting there. They ate their whole meal with a rat running around under the table))))) Four stars for the pizza. Zero stars for the rat))))

There is a whole penned thread at the top of the Philippines subforum that talks about it.

I stayed at Adriatico Suites for 6 days near the Malate Church and had an amazing time. I even had my niece stayed with me for 3 days with no additional cost - management appreciated me for letting them know as they were able to prepare more stuff for her to use during her stay ahead of time.

Room Cost

P11,913.78 (including Tax)
P1,276.48 (Tax included)
P1,780.22 Long stay discount (Yup!)

When looking for a place, my number 1 requirement is the internet connection - and the place offers 300 mbps for dl and nearly the same speed for the upload. Oh, it has a 32 inch TV with Netflix programmed so yay!

The place is very clean, staff is very friendly and accommodating, it's an oasis in the middle of the city - has a pool, bar, breakfast buffet is so good I was rushing back to the place to get some after from my embassy interview 😂. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby- korean, japanese, chinese, american,  pinoy. All in walking distance.

I will be back and stay with them for 2 days before my flight next month for sure.

it a tad too far walking distance from USEM for you average Filipino.  Any thing East of Pedro Gil street is stretching it for most.

I have wanted to stay in that area and check it out,  Price on Hotel sounds pretty good for that area.  How close is a mall from there?  I have seen Paddi's Point and Cowboy Grill Malate in that area which would be good to visit at night.
