Well your wife, as the petitioner and USC, should be the one filling the forms since she is the one who is submitting the forms.

Also, again, if she has had a legal name change in the US, then yes she uses your surname, if not then no, she uses her maiden name....

This is why it's important for the petitioner to be involved here on VJ, because sometimes there is a confusion and the information is misunderstood by the beneficiary.

been saying that for a long time

she needs to join

she should fill out the I 130 as she needs to sign it and send in the payment

she is petitioning for you

she doesn't need to change her name

you are from  a high fraud country , don't make it look like this is all your idea /sorry that is blunt but you doing all the paperwork may well be noticed by immigration as if you fill it out ,  you have to sign that u did just that one one of the last pages

You mean you are filling it out and she'll just copy whatever you write down, in her own handwriting, you mean?

Does your case have any red flags (other than being from a high-fraud country)---big age difference, difference in religion, little face-time/time spent together  in person, etc.? Any previous petitions filed on your behalf before?

That in itself, in a high fraud country, is a red flag. If you search you'll see a common trend of issues stem from first visits and quick marriages/proposals.

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

No one can say 100% for the outcome but just married after 1 visit does look suspicious/rush and may lead to denial.

What is the best option for us to do?

You can file still. But it is highly suggested to have a lot more face time, meaning more visits. That is always beneficial when dealing with high fraud countries and difficult embassies.

She could move?
