What is the best option for us to do?

More physical time.  The number of her future visits and the time she spends with you will definitely help to build a strong case.

When I came with my wife for her interview in April,  I overheard another interview: the beneficiary (wife) was asked for how many times her husband (who was not with her) visited her after the marriage. She said none as he was doing his PhD research. They denied her visa application, she cried...then left in angry.

Highly suggest you go to the Portals tab and goto the Nigeria forum and read country specific cases about denials and their reasons why. Also study the immigration guides.

So it would be Better if she can visit me more? What if I apply for tourist visa that I wanna go visit my wife?

Nothing is preventing you from applying for a Visa.   It's a $160 roll of the dice as to approval

YMMV

It does not matter who visits who or where - as long as it is physical.

Getting a US  tourist visa is not so easy for many countries that why when discussing, people normally suggest the petition to visit the beneficiary but it works the same.

For the petition it does not matter.  It is the consulate interview

You can file still. But it is highly suggested to have a lot more face time, meaning more visits. That is always beneficial when dealing with high fraud countries and difficult embassies.

Okay

You have had many people who have given suggestions.  Time to do something as long as you understand your current facts may not be strong enough for an approval

YMMV

Yes

You will have an uphill battle.  Not with the petition, but with the Lagos consulate.
