Thank you OldUser. Good thing with no debt and living simple life by choice it has been doable. But wanting to buy a house or open our own business hasn't been since hanging in USCIS limbo. He actually requested they be combined back in March but still no response. Irony is we knew each for over 6 years from in person visits, phone calls, emails, sms history before we ever file.

OldUser thanks to the past presidency's immigration changes, covid, and yada yada It was the extension and date it would end would be the issue for employment. Like was offered a job last summer to teach but the I-551 expired October 2022 so who is going to hire a teacher who may or may not get another extension for employment

We filed hubby's I-751 in February 2021 and N-400 February 2022 we are finally scheduled for I-751 interview next month at regional office. It has been a hard and frustrating time two and three years for us. He graduated with to Master's Degrees in Education Curriculum Development and Math Foundations and credentials in High School math. But he has had to turn down job offers or told to apply when everything is finished. And in 2016 we the case an attorney said we didn't need him since we had such a long history of communication and visiting each other. ARGH I grateful most of have had success.
