I-129F approval rate

I've been studying this :    https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=1&visa=1&scenter=1&option=2&sortby=2    page on VJ.  It seems clear to me that the approval rates for I-129F are quite low.  I have heard from others (on this site and elsewhere) that exactly the opposite is true.  Can someone help me resolve this issue?  Thanks.

Some of this depends on if people update their profiles. Some don't ever update them so we don't know. Also, some of these "denials" could be because of failure to respond to an RFE, or maybe they broke up, USC had criminal records excluding them from being able to apply, ect..., we don't know. Generally the I-129f petition approvals are decent numbers so, don't think there is a true statistical showing because of all the different variables involved that could lead to a denial.

08/15/2014 : Met Online

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

02/03/2017 - Married

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

I129f approval rates are quite high, an approved petition does not translate automatically into an approved Visa

YMMV

Well, obviously the author should either find a way of filtering out the instances you mention or, at least post a notice that this is raw data including such instances.  Actually, I'm shocked at the numbers that fail for any reason.  My true interest in data like this would be the quantity of denials.

You have reached a false conclusion based on faulty data...........That timeline query actual shows that the number of people inputting information is low.  The data is only as good as the source.  A much better indicator of I29f approval rates comes from numbers published by USCIS, itself.....as reflected in the link I posted above.

December 12, 2022:  Received email from Dallas office informing me (spouse) to be there for combo interview.

December 14, 2022: Combo Interview for I-751 and N-400 Conducted.

January 26, 2023: Wife's Oath Ceremony completed at the Plano Event Center, Plano, Texas!!!😁

February 6, 2023: Wife's Passport Application submitted in Dallas, Texas.

March 21, 2023:   Wife's Passport Delivered!!!!

May 15, 2023 (about):  Naturalization Certificate returned from Passport agency!!

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Would you ask a fox how many chickens it had killed in the hen house when nobody was looking?  I don't trust ANY numbers published by politicians especially the group currently in power in the US and especially on the issue of immigration.  The VJ page in question has a lot of information on it.  What would motivate someone to go to the trouble of producing that much false data?  I feel safe predicting that the report you furnished spends most of it's time patting USCIS on the back and demonstrating how fair and unbiased they are.  I'm a firm believer in the old joke about how to tell if a politician is lying.

There is no better data regarding I-129f approval rates than what USCIS, itself, publishes........like it or not..........it seems you already have reached some conclusion in your mind, and you are searching for data to justify it.......

I-129f approval rate for FY 2018 was 73.49%......

You are galactically naive.

Thanks for re-stating something that everybody knows and was never at issue here.  I will give due credit to your opinion on approval rates.

Prejudiced against politicians and the data they manipulate for their own purposes....................GUILTY!!!!!    And justifiably so.  You should try it yourself.  You'll be right much more than you are wrong.

Not exactly; a lot of the petitions approved in FY 2018 were filed in FY 2017, and a lot of the petitions filed in FY 2018 weren't approved until FY 2019, even without any unusual delays. And mid-calendar 2017 to mid-calendar 2018 (which I think is roughly FY2018) was ground zero for the NOA1 to NOA2 processing slowdown. So looking at FY2018 data and comparing received petitions to approvals is likely to understate approval rates, I think.
